Test it with computer monitor or other TV, if working then it's the tv problem, if still not working, maybe it's STB problem.

My house is less than 3km from the new launched transmission tower, yet MUX 1 is so difficult to find its position to receive signals while MUX 2 is much easier. Even near to windows, only certain places in house could receive MUX 1 signals. I thought it should be working this way, where antenna is placed and just rotate it left or right to get the strongest signal like analogue TV, but it doesn't. I need to relocate the whole antenna. Why like this?

Got private installer (not MYTV authorised) out there, installation charge even more expensive than NJOI's.

Yup, this happens to my place at Sibu, Sarawak. To receive Mux 1 which has CJWOW channels is very difficult. You need to move around to find the specific 'spot' which has signals, a little move away from the spot will cause the signals vanish instantly. My house is less than 3km from the transmission tower, theoretically it should be easy to receive signals, but it doesn't. Outdoor antenna is even worse than indoor, maybe 'over power'.

Opposite situation occurs in Sibu, where Mux2 is easy to get but very difficult to get Mux1

Agree with the part where NJOI signal reception is much more stable than MYTV. I am with NJOI watching for about a year, I give 4.5/5 stars to NJOI, only downside is disturbance when bad weather /raining. 2/5 stars to MYTV, no need explain why so poor mark cause everyone knows about its infamous progression.

As for the price, it depends on whether the installation was done by yourself or hire other to do it, and the source where to get the decorder, antenna, cable and connector. If not mistaken there is an extra pay to activate NJOI.

Really funny... RM100,000 or imprisonment for up to six months, or both, if found guilty.

MCMC wants what? They want the devices be certified by MCMC, that's the point.

MYTV woundn't encrypt DVB-T2, what's the benefit of doing that? So that public will buy the original STB which is about RM200? By that time when freeview channels are encrypted, I think wise people would rather go for NJOI or iptv.

That lazada link, is that STB MCMC certified?

Correct. If MYTV provide encrypted premium channels (like Singapore) such as HBO, Hulu, Cinemax, sports etc which requires monthly payment with attractive lower price than astro, that would make encryption sounds reasonable.
