Couldn't agree more, like I mentioned B4, there is no need be so stingy unless for HD or premium channels are encrypted which is reasonable, why encrypt those SD channels too. Too small gas already.

You wouldn't know the answer but to wait, few days, weeks or months. That's always how MYTV carries out experiments towards public, no guarantee and no quality. Get used with it.

Playtv@unifi apps is always more reliable than MYTV's experimenting DTT. I wonder other countries when first implement DTT, the situation was it as dramatic as in Malaysia?

Maybe priority for 'ancestor' channel which has one of the highest number of spectators especially in rural places in Sarawak

Alternative method by Iptv or DTH or wait long long for MYTV to improve.

Cause it's Malaysia vs Singapore. Obviously something was wrongly done by MYTV.

Go browse Facebook marketplace, you could buy original mytv decorder, new full set around RM50. Many people get this free decorder and sale it.

If MYTV wasn't paid with single cent, how to survive? 😂 MYTV seems very rich and generous to give free decoder, free installation and free channels but ends up sued by Green Packet SDN and complaints from public and MCMC.

I agree that to compare Astro and MYTV is unreasonable, how about MYTV with NJOI?

But Analogue isn't switch off due to some technical problems, so MYTV is still not paid. Where is the private money comes from? And why would some private companies (I assume) keen to fund MYTV to implement Malaysia DTT project? Obviously, it isn't a small money. I remember MYTV owes TM too by renting transmission towers.

That's why, while many people are requesting for more channels and upgrading to HD quality, I only wish MYTV could make sure the broadcast is as stable as possible.

Unifi which is always impacted by underground cable disruption because some constructions are carried out. TM will send sms to users about the excepted recovery date and time. In opposite case, MYTV always not make official announcement before the disruption or announce after the incident, which is too late and meaningless. I don't think MYTV doing its job seriously.

I have lost my hope on MYTV. It's a big mistake for government to assign DTTV project to this hopeless company. Not only you have this issue, it happens to me in Sibu, Sarawak. I installed UHF antenna on roof top and direct it to transmission tower. I only able to scan 5 TV channels TV1, TV2, TV OKEY, RTM HD sports and BES and 5/6 radios (I couldn't recall). Tv channels are almost not watchable as signal is not constant, from zero to 90% and instantly drop back to zero again, keeps showing no signal. For radio channels, it wasn't smooth streaming as well but better than TV channels. Yet, MYTV keep advertising its 'awesome' channels on the official Facebook which makes me almost vomit.

Yeah, I have 5 feet c band parabola, can receive Thaicom (mono29 is my favorite) ,palapa D and apstar 7 (China shows), however failed to get signal with ku band Lnb installed on the parabola.

As for MYTV DTT reception, the cable is Rg6 and a long Antenna comes with built-in booster, which could receive signal in 120km coverage. The nearest transmission tower is about 3km from my house. Installation and connection were check okay, so the problem must be from MYTV side.
