can we make all channel got their information ? coz my dtv only got few information  biggrin.gif
Nothing can be done at viewer side.

If MYTV or respective TV station didn't input into their so-called ePG (electronic program guide), viewer see no info on ePG on TV screen.

Well.....in mytv facebook....seem like mytv finally sells that 'unwanted/no demand' expensive decoder.

RM299 + 6% GST  puke.gif

The facebook post comment section is quite interesting..... biggrin.gif

Could you provide the frequency of the channel for each mytv if you are free? You can check it by pressing 'info' two times. I wanted to scan it manually.

That's the only frequency for all MYTV channels in that bouquet in JB.

Somewhere between Q3 2017 to June 2018. Gov said 1 June 2018 will be the date of analogue switch off.
I bet it will be extended again and again, normal in Malaysia !

So, everyone can give up on getting media prima HD channel on MYTV platform. Probably only TV3 will be broadcasted in HD (not so 'HD') while the rest in super blurry + blocky SD.
*
A good example failure of DVB-T2 implementation in this region (compared to Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Brunei) !

Well......rumour has it.....Media Prima is currently testing bitrate stuff.....need to find out the extreme lowest limit for its digital broadcast.

Bandwidth based billing agreement between content provider (media prima) and broadcast provider (mytv) instead of fixed RM12m for SD and RM25m for HD.

So, everyone can give up on getting media prima HD channel on MYTV platform. Probably only TV3 will be broadcasted in HD (not so 'HD') while the rest in super blurry + blocky SD.

Got a feeling our National Broadband Initiative gonna be a failure too if some brainless TM management decide to implement quota system.  happy.gif

What else is a failure?
So far....ASTRO still enjoying its life. However its satellite tv license exclusivity will expire soon. One way to undermine ASTRO online stream venture = Quota system.  icon_rolleyes.gif

It will be good if open sky to enable all residents to own C-band dish(es) but I think it is impossble in Msia and will never happen !

Really cannot stand the super blurry images from NTV7 and 8TV these few days. The resolution is really bad and worse than 360p. It looks like Media Prima is having some technical problems, as announced in their facebook.
*
No funding I think. No reason to let viewer waiting all the times. If technical staff is readily available along with lastest necessary DVB-T2 equipment standby, I don't see any technical issues will arise from time to time. The 'DTT testing' in Bahasa watermark wordings have long been there and never removed ! Seems testing period of time never go to an end. In concurrent situation DVB-T2 in Msia, I am sorry to say that I am prefer to revert to old style analogue VHF / UHF. Ding dong ding dong always in MYTV and keep viewers in uncertainty !

What the hell?
Whatever happened to 8TV drama audio?
Picture quality somehow acceptable, but audio quality appears to sound like super low bitrate stereo now?  bangwall.gif

Duh, people complain about low video bitrate/quality and now media prima decides to screw audio bitrate instead?  doh.gif

in Bolehland, complain ~~~ ade gunakah ? That's why called BOLEHLAND, authority won't care. other ASEAN countries moved forward and Bolehland left far behind in TV digitalization.

DVB-T2 implementation fail

Automotive industry ..... another failure compared to Thailand and Indonesia.

brands like Hisense, Sharp and Philips that always sell dirt cheap TVs with minimum specs, where some of their low-end TVs in the market are still shamefully not equipped with built-in DVB-T2.
*
Just a bit curious, are these so-called low end manufacturers dumped these units without DVB-T2 from country like Singapore or Thailand (with DVB-T2 implemented) to Malaysia (yet to implement DVB-T2 officially) to clear their stock ?

Of course. Brunei = channel 30 (546MHz) with 1.2 or 1.5 meter (cant quite recall) 6 elements yagi-uda antenna + booster. No way around this. It is really far after all to center of Miri town.

Too bad brunei digital signal quality somehow bordering around 55-60%. So there is artifact once a while.
*
Do you have any official website listed with Brunei DVB-T2 freq. ?
