i did the long method. then i used their method to remove the pesky triangle. btw i will just try litening rom first.

does anyone use this phone without any protective case? i scare my jeans will scratch the camera glass only... front at least got screen protector..

gorilla glass is scratch proof. i only worry bout oil and smudges from my fingers

Too bad you already flashed different. Villain rom DOES need you to clear cache. I had the same problem.

1. Press power button long (turn off)
2. Press volume UP + home + power (recovery)
3. Clear caches

Then it boots wonderfully.

Me. I don use anything on it. already 1 month+ still as good as new. I wanna wait for case-mate's case.

But screen protector is a big no for me. It doesnt get scratch easily and why on earth would I waste the samsung's effort on making such a beautiful display and scratch resistance glass.? I like the nake screen. ALOT. I didn't apply any SP on my last phone. Good as new. no scratch =)

gorilla glass is not scratch proof.its scratch resistant.fine sand can even cause scratches. the first one to get S2 here had a big scratch all of a sudden.

The glass covering the camera lens is also gorilla glass ke? O_O wah

resistance did u not read. i wrote resistance. ccm's s2 scratch is highly due faulty manufacture.

Once again i would like to say, it's not easily scratch. Many said sand can cause scratch but MEH. i dropped my ace on a sandy surface, sliding it like riding a slide. Nth happen. Doesnt even see a scratch.

villain flash through CWM or ODIN? im not sure..coz never use villain..
after wipe cache and dalvik..straight flash villain rom..

Best to clear both b4 u select " install zip file from sd "

Put villain zip file in internal sdcard. Flash cf-root kernel to get CWM feature. Then reboot to recovery mode n flash the zip file. SGS and SGS2 wont easily get brick one

are sure its stuck.. becoz it may take afew minutes.. dont say that u remove battery during villain boot animation?

the boot animation takes so long dude! i had to remove just now im trying again now. see how its goes.

comes from an iphone 3gs user.... starting to like this phone liao!!!
