No need to waste much time troubleshooting your house line, if local speed is normal then it's obvious international gateway is very congested. Unifi users share same concentrators as Streamyx 4M/2M with same IP blocks. They should get the same slowdown as Streamyx users if some breakdown happen but this is not the case. So it's obvious the shared pool of resources are not distributed evenly between Streamyx and Unifi.

got throttle already la.

Streamyx got good and bad IP adi, sometimes of you got bad IP, normal surfing is okay (youtube, facebook) but direct download sucks!! 10kb only, only reseting to another "good" ip (with luck) you can get you supposed speed.

have prob with just install unifi , luckily havent terminate the streamyx...but looks like slower then last time dialup

Currently downloading with less than 10KBPS when I could have gotten 100 ~ 200 last time. Screw screamyx

Used to experience good speeds like that 2 years back.

But now...sigh.

Those HTTP downloads from oversea servers only get around speeds like you said 10-50kB/s.

Funny that Unifi users can get 100kB/s even for international servers with single connections.

If Streamyx users are put on same ip blocks with them what can you conclude?

any way to rectify this? I know complaining to TM and SKMM does not work.

This has nothing to do with end users or last mile.

It's their wholesale problem.

You contact their customer support and technical team also no use. It's their wholesale international connectivity and bandwidth team that you should reach...

yeah change streamyx to unifi(this is a idea from them to force you to change )

That's why they made it that way. Consumers can never reach their international wholesale dept by complain.

I called their IP Transit Dept. once. A Malay woman pick up the phone and straight away replied salah no and hang up the phone rudely.

Wow they just sit there no need to do thing and waiting the time over and then balik rumah....Da*m
