Guys,

Is the extra 5K worth for the upgrading from S to E spec?

Any aftermarket security add-on that you recommend? ie. locks.

The salesperson here in Penang is offering a 1K rebate, but nothing else. Just want to compare what other sales person are offering.

Edit - Wheres the CD player?

Thanks.

hi all bros,

is going to get a city this week...

was wondering is there any particular thing i need to check on when i get the car? eg: some commonly reported problem for city and so forth...

and also,

is looking for tinting... not sure about tinting but my budget is around just 1k, looking for sonar 1st, security is a good to have.. and must be gps friendly....

open to any suggestion, even if bros suggesting better to opt for security > sonar

rm5k for the extra things for E spec vs S spec are definitely worth the money. the 6 speakers are definitely much much much more impressive than 4 speakers in S spec for the entertainment. rclxms.gif

Hi guys,

I need your valuable opinion on below.

Got my car recently and I have installed Cobra Connex in my Honda City.

After a while i decided to change the factory alarm since the factory alarm does not feel secure enough. Thus i changed to Viper 330v.

My questions are:-

1. Does installing this aftermarket alarm changed the way cobra connex functions? I think it does because when i purposely trigger the alarm, i did not get any sms notifications..

2. Does installing an aftermarket alarm voids any kind of warranty on the car? (im guessing the obvious answer is alarm warrant void?)

3. The viper installer did set my car lights to turn on after shutting off the engine to indicate that i havent locked my door, it will go off once i armed the alarm. Can feature be turned off?

4. Is it possible to revert back to the factory alarm?

Thanks guys

I think the cobra connext works hand in hand with the ori alarm

2. Does installing an aftermarket alarm voids any kind of warranty on the car? (im guessing the obvious answer is alarm warrant void?)
yes, i think void all electronics, but then again this is honda, they miht void all

3. The viper installer did set my car lights to turn on after shutting off the engine to indicate that i havent locked my door, it will go off once i armed the alarm. Can feature be turned off?
this wan u can turn it off at the cabin light la

4. Is it possible to revert back to the factory alarm?
yeah, if the wires are cut off properly ...

Thanks guys

If you looked properly... the E spec has 6 speakers which play nicely and also the gearbox! E spec has P,R,N,D and S plus pedal shift while S spec has the traditional P,R,N,D,2,L.

For me, I feel E spec has better management on gear shifting and you can overwrite the default shifting just playing around with pedal shift. notworthy.gif

I see, means there is a gap/hole underneath the seat but without the proper tray. I thought it was closed off.
