Knocked the skirting onto the divider when driving on a narrow path couple of days ago. Just wanted to ask how much would it cost approx to repair this? Knocking + repaint. Only need to fix the skirt right? Not including the back part?

knocking back to the shape will cost rm100-200, painting - rm400-500.

u bring to the SC they will know whether it can be knock back to original shape. if knock back won't be nice, they would recon u to change new part.

knock back of course need painting, it is together one.

sound like battery issue...

send over to SC to check and since yours is still under warranty, ask to replace a new battery with FOC nod.gif

how long is the warranty for the battery? one year rite?

i think installation of Connex is worth it as it is only cost 0.04% of your standard City E spec which cost around 90500..

Based on Risk Management principle.. the installation of added security measure will improve ur risk from High to Medium.. in term of protection of your car from getting stolen..

yearly cost is around 360 plus 150 for insurance for 15k compensation package..

read this in star today

*
Yeah, u are absolutely rite. A lot of owners are rather fail in their risk management which they can bother to spend money on comestic stuff to beautify their car instead of investing in extra security system as they are located in a crime city.

Then cry or complain over it when something really happened.

aihh ... this is not because the car has good market price, or its a good car nor a high demand for it ...

its just that the car has bad security features ...

anyone here agree with me here?

Added on July 2, 2011, 3:26 pmAm at the Honda service centre here. I was told by the foreman who installed the cobra for me. He said those stolen cars can be recovered because one of the city among those were stolen as well installed with cobra Connex, that's why.

think maybe because the new facelift will be out soon, so they should have more or less stop production of the current version soon.

Guys,

Is the extra 5K worth for the upgrading from S to E spec?

Any aftermarket security add-on  that you recommend? ie. locks.

The salesperson here in Penang is offering a 1K rebate, but nothing else. Just want to compare what other sales person are offering.

Edit - Wheres the CD player?

Thanks.
*
rm5k for the extra things for E spec vs S spec are definitely worth the money. the 6 speakers are definitely much much much more impressive than 4 speakers in S spec for the entertainment. rclxms.gif

Hi guys,

I need your valuable opinion on below.

Got my car recently and I have installed Cobra Connex in my Honda City.

After a while i decided to change the factory alarm since the factory alarm does not feel secure enough. Thus i changed to Viper 330v.

My questions are:-

1. Does installing this aftermarket alarm changed the way cobra connex functions? I think it does because when i purposely trigger the alarm, i did not get any sms notifications..

2. Does installing an aftermarket alarm voids any kind of warranty on the car? (im guessing the obvious answer is alarm warrant void?)

3. The viper installer did set my car lights to turn on after shutting off the engine to indicate that i havent locked my door, it will go off once i armed the alarm. Can feature be turned off?

4. Is it possible to revert back to the factory alarm?

Thanks guys
*
since u had installed the cobra connex, why changed the car alarm? shocking.gif
i think u are doing somethng rather extra to it.

I had cobra connex installed in my sold car also. it works perfectly. sweat.gif I have 100% peace of mind of my car being theft after installing it.

Hie guys, can i know what is the fuel consumption for your HC 5G?
*
if 100% city drive (heavy traffic or jam), max can get 10-11km/litre, or 300-320km for 32-32litre of fuel.
if highway drive 100%, it is abt 15-16km/litre.
