paddle shift is the manual gear shift on the steering right ?
since im kinda noob in this ?
do you think by using that is faster in terms of acceleration ?
cause im not used to it,i still feel normal D mode and down the paddle is faster then manual ?
LOL correct me if im wrong thanks
*
In D, I'd say the car would technically shift at the most optimum RPM.

However, D is more like an eco mode. So, shifts very fast even when you floor the paddle.

If you use the paddle shifts in S mode, you can drag at higher rpm then only shift. I'd say manual shifting in S mode will yield better speed vs auto in D mode.

bro moon, me stay near to the pasar borong selangor.. anyway, that was my lucky day.. thanks god!

as for safety, i had visit honda few hours back.. do some discuss with the foreman.. and i decided to disable the boot key slot function as i already cover the key hole with my plate number.. pretty easy by unattached a tiny rod from its place.. just ask any honda sc to do it for u and ask them to enable boot alarm as well.. hope this might help to secure our car.. thumbup.gif

Does anyone here install ambient lighting inside their car? I notice that Honda City elsewhere like Australia or India has ambient lighting. Plus, anyone here knows wherever selling the cheapest modulo front grille?

Thanks for the wish bro!

Btw, just changed 4 tires at Tek Ming Sunway. Hankook V8 RS 195/50/16. RM245 per piece including trade in.

Actually I was trying to change to 205/50 V12.. but a lot of tire shops says might sangkut, even after I say a lot of forumers changed already. At last, with less rolling resistance and cheaper price, I thought it's best to compromise on V8 195/50.

Did you change the rims as well?

Anyway, rev to 5.5k just now when climbing a slope to overtake another car, the sound is different, and engine feels different, and sure it accelerates fast, from 50km/h to 80km/h easily while climbing, and while the rpm idling down to around 4k, somehow the engine has another tone of sound, and it feels rough, I guess that is when the vtec de-activates?

I rev to 6k yesterday as i was trying to catch up with my friends who actually owns VW Eos , Nissan Sylphy. When it's somewhere around 4.8k to 5k , it starts to accelerate quickly. Below 4k , car accelerates slowly.

Fuel consumption is like crazy when you rev above 5k rpm and above.
I'm sure I can notice the fuel metre goes down gradually every second. Hehehe.
