Ya, fuse problem. The horn and gear shift lock shares the same fuse. It is rated at 10AMP. It's either you replace the fuse to at 15AMP (I don't recommend this though as fuse are in placed to protect your circuit board) or install a horn relay.

QUOTE(earl-ku @ Jul 15 2011, 01:36 AM) when was the last service? how long are you ude for next service? NHC shouldn't have a throttle head or throttle body. The throttle is controlled electronically or should I say "Drive By Wire". What you meant should be the Mass Air Flow Sensor which is located in the air filter box.request for ecu reset or maybe clean the throttle head, heard from one forumer here it works ... to clean the throttle head ... make sure clean air filter, adequate tyre pressure ... hmmm standard procedure lo check these stuffs first ... QUOTE(blue6228 @ Jul 15 2011, 01:27 PM) My previous service was around May & the next service is about to due soon. Reset the ECU, replace the air filter if it is dirty & clean the Mass Air Flow Sensor.Added on July 15, 2011, 1:28 pm So what is ur advice judging from my condition?? As for bumpier ride, try to take some air out from your tyres. The SC could have pump in a little more air into the tyres. Over inflated tyres will give you bumpier ride. This is because the tyres cannot absorb the bumps if they are over inflated. This post has been edited by Thrust: Jul 15 2011, 01:36 PM |

QUOTE(blue6228 @ Jul 15 2011, 01:40 PM) All these won't reduce your engine noise bro. If you want to reduce your engine noise, you can opt for thicker engine oil but since you're using Fully Synthetic which is rated at xW-40, I think it's alrite already. If you want to save more fuel, the semi synthetic engine oil which is rated at 5w-30 should do the trick. |

QUOTE(kons @ Aug 17 2011, 04:08 PM) Their petrol price is even more drooling. By right we shouldn't add water into the coolant reservoir. The proper way to add coolant is to use distilled water (50%) + coolant (50%). It's best to as the SC to top it up for us since they should have the coolant mixture ready at all times.the coolant for radiator actually is right in front of the fans.. the one we get on the left hand side is the water for wiper. anyway, i have been adding water into the coolant since day-1 and it has not caused me any problem so far. The reason why we should not top it off with tap water is because the boiling point for water is at 100 degree Celcius. The distilled water & coolant mixture has a boiling point at 106 degree Celcius. Furthermore, the mixture will prevent your radiator from getting rusty in the long run. That is why, try not to top up your radiator with tap water Note: Believe me, the radiator temperature can easily reach 90 degree Celcius & could achieve 98C when the aircond is turned off. |

It's best you let them repair the engine. Although problem is small, it could get worse over time. Btw, they don't actually need a month to do so. Most to most, 2 weeks can get the job done.

QUOTE(calvin_gsc @ May 5 2012, 01:54 PM) I can't remember exact amount but should be RM350+ range per piece. I can check for you when I get back to office on Monday. I bought it in 2011 but it was a 2010 tyre, so it was sold to me cheaper. Bro, mind taking a photo shot on the whole car with the new tyre profile? I wanted to see how wide is the dougnut. |
