you guys need to slow down and read sols very first post on selling gerrard again. it was more towards a joke rather than a suggestion, and sols was saying if, IF somebody offered us another 50m for gerrard he would happily let him go.

Accuse me of being ungrateful, of showing a distinct lack of passion etc etc, but I do believe that I support LFC the club and not Gerrard the player. Being ruthless, calculative and manipulative made many a millionaire!

This is also how I suspect things to be in the future under NESV, when Lucas hits twenty eight-ish and is at his prime, he will be sold no matter how much we like him. The owners aren't exactly here to gift success to LFC - there is no free lunch. They intend to make money by developing youngsters and selling them off at the right time for godly sums. If they win something in between then that's a bonus.
