I guess you asked in the wrong tread. Lolx.
You never know. Our BLM might get 500KM mark if given a clear highway road with no stopping.
Who knows right?

I don mean revcut, redline. But max power. Both mt/cvt peak at 5750 vs 6k in fl, also mt gb x xhange but quote fc is now 5.7l/100 vs 6.0 b4.
*
The transmissions on both the manual and auto have been changed. The manual is a new 5 speeder from Getrag and it features a final drive ratio of 3.8 vs the old aichi kikai's 4.7.

The new ratios on both the manual and the cvt are meant to keep the engine in optimum revs as much as possible or something like that. A new getrag auto tranny will also eventually be introduced into the FL.

This is what i want...haiz... sad.gif

In this speed, my manual reach 3500rpm, almost 1000rpm higher, more noisier, FC more higher.

Now even FLX manual gearbox is new one, i bet the RPM is much more lower than current manual FL.

What's the difference between iAFM+ and the normal iAFM?
*
QUOTE(xshiro @ Jul 27 2011, 05:10 PM)
there is no IAFM+ yet...i cant find any info regarding this...as far as i know current FLX still use IAFM
*
QUOTE
Elsewere, the 1.3 litre CamPro four-pot mill on the FLX is now of the IAFM+ variety, the plus suffix indicating that some minor revisions to the cam profile have been carried out, addressing some quality-related issues and for better integration with the CVT drivetrain. In terms of output figures, there’s no change – 94 hp and 120 Nm are still it, the same as found on the FL.

Source. I guess that's the answer we need.

Saga FLX gets new Getrag 5 speed manual. FFuu

QUOTE
Oh, and the manual variant of the FLX also sees a change, this being in drivetrain choice, the Aichi Kikai five-speed tranny making way for a Getrag five-speeder. The selection goes the same route as that chose with going with CVT – better efficiency and improved fuel economy. To wit, the final drive’s ratios reveal much; on the Japanese gearbox it’s 4.7, while the Getrag’s is 3.8. There was no manual FLX during the drive – the word is that it’s coming about soon, and the Getrag slush-box will make the transition to the FL as standard fitment as things move along.
Not yet available, but coming soon..

AND ->

QUOTE
The new package features stiffer springs, a thicker front anti-roll bar (21 mm, as opposed to the 19 mm one on the FL) and revised shocks – among other things, the APM-made units feature a reworked rebound rate, offering 20% to 30% more stiffness. Also, the stopper length at the back has also been increased, essentially to stop the rearward sagging look of the car.
Now I jelly.

1. Yes, it is normal to be around 2500rpm at 80kph
2. Warranty? Depends on where you want to get it done. My advice is to go to COE. They are more willing to let you claim warranty. Just mention that you just got the car second hand. I'm sure they're willing to let you claim. btw, before I forget, warranty should be 3 years or 50,000km.
3. 360km, is it full highway or full city? Thats pretty average for the manual BLM btw

CVT transmission loss is lower than conventional 4 speed AT, so if 1.3L can use old AT, it definitely no problem for CVT

Add on to what Eric said:

1. Yes, very normal for BLM manual. Mine also manual 2.5k rpm at 80.

2. Is your BLM is 1st generation? How to see? See whether your car got side signal below your mirror. If no that means your is 1st generation BLM. FOr 1st generation BLM, warranty comes with 3 + 2 years warranty or 100, 000km which ever apply 1st. 3 + 2 warranty only applied if your car has been going regular services (each and every services written on the service booklet) at authorized service center. But I doubt so cause I, myself had not been going services at Proton SC after the first 5 services. tongue.gif Nevertheless, you can follow what eric said.

3. It depends whether you are driving on City or Highway. If you are more on city drive than highway, I can say your FC is pretty good!!

Hope it helps

i think it's normal for manual as they said
for auto...80KM/H...the RPM would be 2k RPM(after warm up)
