Does anyone know of any way where I can get an earlier date for relocation? 2 months is too freakin long~~~

Added on June 12, 2011, 1:04 amAnd I find it preposterous that new users just need to wait a few weeks to one month to have Unifi fixed in their homes and yet relocation need to wait 2 freakin months?

I also actually should have to wait 2 months for relocation. But I e-mailed them and called them everyday pressuring them to make it quicker.
I even questioned them, is this how u treat ur current customer bla bla bla?
After a few days, they called me and said that they can do a relocation another 3 days.. smile.gif
And it was successful.

The point is, keep on pressuring them! smile.gif

Last time I tweeted the tmnet twitter account asking if their are capping. They say it is still unlimited.

Is the bandwidth now capped? Or still unlimited?
Just wondering.

I'm not trying to pissed of streamyx user or what, but ever since TMNet started to block mu, warez and so on, my unifi connection is becoming smoother and smoother. My download speed does not drop from 700kb-500kb but instead stay stable 650kb upwards.

I thought unifi are on different server then streamyx? Or we all do share the same gateway? im confused.

They didn't block any warez site. I'm using the 2mb streamnyx package.
WTH. They are blocking it on the Unifi package? Sucks then I might not get the Unifi package then.

I don't think they blocked them yet. The thing now is that SKMM/MCMC already file a request quoting some stupid law asking ALL the ISPs to take action to block those websites. That means no matter what package or what provider you've got. As long as the ISP start blocking, you can't access the listed 10 sites.

That is just downright stupid then. Well since I'm still a student might as well take my degree to some other country. Malaysia sucks. I am not proud to be a Malaysian. vmad.gif

Yeah. unifi@tm.com.my
I called them too but not that often coz it'll waste my phone bill. tongue.gif

Anyway, for me, let's say you already applied for relocation, and if they give you about 2 months waiting, you should apply for exemption of monthly payment for the 2 months. What's the use of paying if can't use because you already moved to the new location? That's what I told them. And i also demanded to speak to their supervisor regarding that issue. But it didn't happen, they straightaway do the relocation for me.. tongue.gif

My situation is: Planing to move around December..
I'm in Unipack 1mb

Now undergoing some renovation, can I now appoint TM to place the cable first?? Then Migrate my Unipack to Unifi in December??

Urgent answer needed as placing cable is undergoing... because most of my cable are placed underground, so I need the fibre optics ready which I don't wish for TM to make a mess of my new house.. ><
