When did you book yours?

booked it before raya...then was told that after raya will get it but after raya the SA told me that now cannot get n have to wait for 3-4mths....so as usual i made alot of noise and spoke to alot of ppl n manage to 'steal' one from the port n register it within 1 week plus...


personally i feel that SA are saying that there is AP problem la this la that la is because they are also not much informed abt whats going on. since the branch managers are kept abreast with all these status they are the ones that needs to answer us when we are given false promises... all u need to do is make some noise there and waaallllaaaa u get ur car in no time...for those who are yet to receive their beasts pls go n push the managers there to get ur car out from the port and push them to get it registered....after all we are in boleh land so mesti la boleh....

If have to wait 3-4 months, may as well tell the SA to give us 2012 car.. But for your case since u already sold your ride, then the earlier the better.
For my case, the longer I hold my current ride, scared the 2nd-hand value keep on dropping as approaching year end....
And with bank loan agreement only valid for 2 months, if have to wait >2 mths need to take time-off again to go to the bank to sign new agreement....

yup ur right....2nd hand value keeps dropping everyday...as for my case i sold my ride earlier and then only went hunting...but then again if u still have ur ride u can alwiz wait till 2012...

can I know what sort of noise u make to your SA? And how they manage to "steal" one unit out from the port? I'm also tired of waiting for my new car. Almost 2 months already. But at least SA manage to lend me a car to use since I already sold my old car...

all sorts of noise bro....because from what i understand if you launch a new model u need to be able to cope up with the demand...but of corz im not saying that u ask today must get today...plus SA needs to keep up to their words when confirming the deal...in my case i was told that i have to wait since i requested before raya...they say now going to raya so will be slow so SA promise me after raya within a week i will get...then after raya again SA told me 'now after raya so ppl still on leave so abit slow...' when i heard that from SA i made sure the branch manager get a piece of my mind...plus SA oso kena la... how they manage to get my unit out fast i am not sure but if i got it after making a scene there then im sure others also can do it....and dont forget to compensate all ur waiting time with the freebies that you can demand...unfortunately sportage dont have much accessories yet but wat the heck....

for ur case bro go there and speak to higher position ppl who can give u answers and not SA who are also in the dark...

hahahaha imagine they comparing with continental cars.. cause the diff of price is ranging around 1k-3k.. here in malaysia? a BMW X1 can buy 2 kia sportage -.- so ridiculous!

Aiaya..how you guy got your car ??? preorder without even touch it before you hand over the $$$ ?

I managed to sit inside one, start the engine, step on the pedal, press all the switches but can't drive it as it was sitting inside KIA service center for repair.
But as I've driven my friend Tucson before, I just trust my gut feeling and put down the deposit.
The fact that my other half was there with me and she also like what was in front of her make it easier.

Won't make it if on 1st..... 2nd Oct definitely I come.... any GPS coordinates?

Most likely it'll be on 2nd of Oct which is a Sunday. GPS coordinates and Picture location will be posted tomorrow. I need more sportage owners to confirm with me as i need to make arrangements for discounts/freebies with car accessories owners.
