QUOTE(yangkuo @ Dec 14 2012, 11:02 AM) i could add NNID from JP,US,PAL to my Friend List so it's not locked. The thing is..... how do I say this....eShop is region specific. i purchased Nano Assault and Trine 2 from US eShop with prepaid points card. online play i guess will depends on per game basis but so far i don't think there's universal online yet. eg. in NintendoLand you have Miis from all regions visiting but that is not exactly the multiplayer "gaming session" you probably referring to. I have a JP XBOX360, but my XBOX Live ID is set to Singapore. In the arcade (Something like app-store la), I get to buy any game that is available, not specific to JP only. Does Wii-U works like that? |

i dunno exactly because i have not attempted such. but if u think about it... the games are region locked so i guess even if they let u download to the machine it won't run !
even worse if they let you do that, no ? QUOTE(neogeocdz @ Dec 14 2012, 12:58 PM) |

I think is pretty straight forward. jp wii u, use Japan apps. u.s. wii u, use u.s. apps. not like Psn and 360 where u can create other region account. not sure if this was a coincidence or due to wear and tear but my 70 watt max stepdown adapter just died while I was playing the Wii U.
to be fair I have used it for almost 6 years and for quite a bit of long sessions now I need to find 2 unit for replacement. any recommendations which spec would be good? stringfellow, which max power stepdown did u get at jalan pasar the other day? |

Yangkuo, I got mine from Ace Hardware. I got the 300W. It's the size of 75% of a shoebox. Your 70W adapter died coz Wii U needs at least 75W. That is not calculating the inefficiencies during power stepdown. It's always safer to get a bigger wattage. You don't want a burnout.
Of course all of this is not since I'm getting the NZ Wii U for my birthday. Added on December 16, 2012, 8:18 amJust got my white Wii U Basic Edition from Bond&Bond Queen St. Auckland. Best thing is, ........ *drumroll* NZD399! Steal! Price slashed from NZD469.99! Woohoo! This post has been edited by stringfellow: Dec 16 2012, 08:18 AM |

Serving jellies since 2003! Now even the entire world is jelly, since they can't get the Nexus 7 dock and I can. All they can do is troll my YouTube video with spammy comments til I had to disable comment. They now spread their jealous cancer to my other YouTube videos. Sad this world is. Tsk tsk tsk.
