So my Japanese Wii U arrived. I'm not sure if the current step down that I use for my Wii will work for the Wii U. The step down has only 70watts output and it doesn't state how much amp it has. I'm worried that the 5 watts difference wont' give it enough power lol

Added on December 13, 2012, 2:44 pmso far i believe even with games running the console is only taking less than half of that adapter's possible 75W output.

You do that I'm your customer. Even if one unit only for me, I'm ready to pay for the premium.

Third party or Nintendo sanctioned?

For those that imported JP or US consoles, does the consoles lock down the friend list or online-play to a specific region?

Is the App-store or game-store locked to a region as well?

i could add NNID from JP,US,PAL to my Friend List so it's not locked.

eShop is region specific. i purchased Nano Assault and Trine 2 from US eShop with prepaid points card.

online play i guess will depends on per game basis but so far i don't think there's universal online yet. eg. in NintendoLand you have Miis from all regions visiting but that is not exactly the multiplayer "gaming session" you probably referring to.
