QUOTE(lightning69 @ Jun 12 2011, 08:49 AM) yes, I just flash to F1 JVP V5 yesterday. Its got all the features I wanted, but the look is stock which is a little messy if you have got use to the simply black theme. can tell us more specifically about this Cell Standby bug thingy??Only 1 Lockscreen. And Samsung keyboard and swype...no Gingerbread keyboard. Speed wise is great. No complaint here. Notice a bug that somehow bring me to phone dialer and I can't exit with the back button. I have to press the Home button to get out. The Cell Standby bug is still here. For all the 3 version GB i flash ie. stock, Darky Extreme V10.1 and F1 JVP V5 the Cell Standby just eat up my battery right after i flash. Not sure why but it happens to all GB. But it disappear after that. Added on June 13, 2011, 8:34 am QUOTE(cradle0fFilth @ Jun 13 2011, 01:57 AM) thx bro. i shall wait further then. i cant take the cell stanby bug.. at times, i need to charge my phone in the office which is very inconvenience! yeah, coz not satisfied with those things they put in their custom roms Added on June 13, 2011, 2:00 am bro. i m havin the somehow similar setup as you, Ramad deodexed JVP, speedmod K15H-T5 so far so good. QUOTE(mendoksei @ Jun 13 2011, 07:53 AM) You can access and manage contents of your phone through any pc that connects to the same wireless as the phone. Just type the given url into the browser. You can also directly streams audio/video contents on your phone through the pc's browser. You dont need to install anything on that PC. Just app on the phone. Streaming video needs you to have quicktime plugins on the browser though. Now I can easily adds files when visiting my friends, provided we're on the same wifi! QUOTE(sliqueliques @ Jun 13 2011, 03:00 AM) Just want to flash JVP. After flash all the apps gone? Im using titanium backup apps. How to recover the apps back if all apps gone include the backup apps? sorry noob question.. I am the other round...only odin. Well I have been using Titanium backup and so far it works well. Just copy your titanium folder in the internal SD card to your PC just in case you accidently format the internal SD card. When you flash new roms, the contents in the internal SD card remains so you can just reinstall Titanium and start restoring your backups. |

QUOTE(ken2291 @ Jun 13 2011, 09:57 AM) Ok. I have flash 3 GB rom so far. First is stock, then Darky V10.1 and now F1 JVP V5. So everytime after I finish flashing the rom, I will start doing the usual customisation like installing GoLauncher and setting it up. Titanium backup to restore my apps and data etc to get my phone back to my normal settings. I don't have any phone line or wifi here cos I'm in the middle of south China sea off thailand coast so I always put my phone on Airplane mode. And i hardly use my phone except for alarm. But then the battery would start to drop and when I check my battery usage, the Cell Standby is on top like 50%-80% depending on how long the phone is on. On 2 occasion I have like 50% battery left before i go to bed and by the next morning the battery is dead. So it use up like 50% of the battery on Airplane mode while i'm sleeping. But after I recharge my phone the next day, the Cell Standby problem is gone and my phone can be on standby the wholeday and only use up like 2% of the battery. |

Should be ok after you recharge. |

QUOTE(lightning69 @ Jun 13 2011, 10:23 AM) I have cell standby at around 60% which I guess is pretty high. I normally finish charging my phone just before bed every night, so I leave my phone on. My battery only drops around 5% overnight. I'm on 2.3.3 JV9. Does the standby bug only hit if I haven't charged the phone? Meaning do I see the drop at around 70% battery only? |
