Hey guys, any nice gaming mouse that is recommended for Macs but are NOT Razer DeathAdder? (Because we all know that they're Mac-compatible already!) laugh.gif

I just want a simple gaming mouse that will work with my MacBook Pro. None of that MMO mouses or whatever.
*
Define your simple gaming mouse? Any USB gaming mouse would work with Mac. The question is whether the software is compatible anot. Not so sure about other brands, but from razer website, those latest mouse like imperator and mamba is compatible with mac i think. =)

Do you have any budget? And any special requirement? Like wireless? And also the way you hold your mouse. If you are asking about specs wise, I would say SteelSeries Xai.

depends on your budget.. If just like FPS games only. If you use about 3200/3500 dpi, no macro-ing. I think Razer DeathAdder would do nicely =D cost around Rm170 or so.

Rm200 is insufficient to get G700. G700 SRP is RM269. The G700, you can set the polling rate to 1000 to enable it to respond like a wired mouse, so there's not much lagging, just drain battery faster.

Personal vote to G700!!!! Liked the sand-papered texture on the mouse.... damn nice to hold... laugh.gif laugh.gif
Plus, my hands sweat alot, so a mouse with non-rubberised surface and rough sand-papered texture is almost catered specially to my case!!!! thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

Lagging issue in wireless gaming mouse is not that big deal ad nowadays as they are equipped with 1000Hz polling rate which can overcome the lagging problem. However, I do agree that wireless gaming mouse is kinda troublesome when it comes to battery life as the higher polling rate will cause you to have shorter battery life.

Depends.. Razer mamba is rechargeable, g700 even better, rechargeable plus easily replaceable as it's a AA battery..
Btw, rechargeable here means you can charge while using.. Else, all wireless mouse are rechargeable.. laugh.gif

The G700 is TOTALLY without any rubberized surfaces. The top is matte smooth plastic and the sides are rough sand-papered texture. Due to the "rubber" feel of the rubberized surfaces and my sweaty little hands, im very anti rubberized mice. Other than a sweat magnet (me in non air-cond environment), it also doubles as a dust magnet....

That is why i re-confirmed many many times before i buy my G700 laugh.gif

So far i never tried using wireless mode, so im not sure how long will it lasts. I think jeff or silentser can answer your question hmm.gif
