QUOTE(Jeffrey1987 @ Jul 26 2011, 12:13 PM) You can set the polling rate to 1000Hz if you want lag free gaming exp. As for battery pack, I do think that the AA batteries are better as if the included rechargeable batteries die then we can simply buy another AA batteries to replace it. Unlike the battery pack such as the one included with the Razer Naga Epic, if something goes wrong then you have to order it from Razer or their official resellers. isnt in wired mode it will charge the battery as well? |

so i decided and just bought the G700...
after a night of sleepless watching youtube, i just realise something, eventhough kova+ got the shift+ thingy, that make it able to customize up to 16 key, the keys are NOT practical key to be pressing, you dont want to lose the left and right mouse button function while doing a macro. and the middle scroll wheel are not something i want to be pressing in fps, it could glide my weapon. so that just left with 2 button on the side, and the other 2 button on the other side i read it cant be use simultaneously with the other 2 side button, while g700 got ready to be press button all over it, so i go to the store and bought myself everything... » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

QUOTE(Searingmage @ Jul 30 2011, 05:45 PM) Thanks a lot for the kind offer.. But I think I'll just get it without testing.. Reviews for the mouse seems good and most people here are recommending this mouse.. I don't think I'll regret even I buy it without test.. Haha.. this is my first wireless gaming mouse, before this using rapoo wired, to be honest i feel G700 more smooth whether in wired or wireless, Anyways, in your opinion, wired and wireless, performance is the same? (i.e. no compromise in performance when using wireless mode?) That's the final thing I want to know only.. haha.. Just want more people's opinion on this point Anyone else with logitech g700, please express your opinion on the mouse's wireless mode too G700 in wireless i cant feel any difference with wired... but that just me, a newbie in wireless gaming mouse, i also put the receiver truly in front of the mousepad, you see my setup at HARDWARE QUESTOIN AND ANSWER "show your workstation" topic, i just post it yesterday |

QUOTE(xcen @ Jul 30 2011, 10:35 PM) Hello sifus. you can FULLY control it, it have 2 mode, you can change the mode by pressing a button, it will switch between free scroll and clicky scroll, Any good wireless mouse to recommend to me? I'm a user for MX518 and I'm very happy with it, but now I need a wireless mouse for my laptop. I need a mouse with at least 3 extra buttons that I can customize. I have a budget of around RM100, maybe will increase if the benefits is really good for the price paid. PS: I read about Logitech's Hyper Fast Scrolling thing. I don't think I like it. I prefer control over some ridiculous hyper fast scrolling. I don't scroll long pages often either. man... i feel like i have to do a video about this... |

QUOTE(Searingmage @ Jul 31 2011, 12:14 AM) Off-topic, what's the advantage of those usb hub from gaming accessories companies compared to normal usb hub? that is roccat apuri (search for clearer picture to get the whole meaning of the use) , it main thing is not the USB hub but the mouse bungee, i always have problem of the mouse wire falling of the table and then weighing down my mouse, or the wire just in the way of my mouse movement, with that thing you snape the wire on top of it, and it will make sure the wire will not in your mouse way or disturb you in any reason@Jeffrey1987 On 1000hz polling rate, what's the battery life span for g700? QUOTE(FishnChipx @ Jul 31 2011, 12:19 AM) btw, if let say i buy another brand (enelop) recharge-able AA battery, can i just charge the battery inside the mouse with usb cable ? or i must charge at another enelop battery charger ? UK g700 came with enelope battery when you buy it ( saw it in one of the video in youtube, coincidental the guy is enelope battery freak) , but for some reason malaysia give enetime... so yeah im sure you can charge inside the mouse, will try to charge some other rechargable battery inside it see if it explode |

QUOTE(Searingmage @ Jul 31 2011, 01:12 PM) Wire troubles only occurs when gaming, whereby your mouse needs to be free all the time.. So when I'm not gaming, I can just plug the cable it.. So, it's no biggie in my case.. buy a bungee and you will never have problem wired or not Anyone can tell me how long the battery can last if I use 1000mhz polling rate, and max anything else? will do a test for the battery life now, will put MAX GAMING in power mode, and set POLLING to 1000, MAX GAMING= g700 will sleep when it is not being use to conserve battery, max gaming mode will allow stay awake longer and will wake up from sleep faster. |

Anything above 5 mins should be perfectly fine.. i press the more info button in the set point power mode option,So, where do you get the info that it will go to sleep even in full gaming mode? Anywhere to check how long it takes before the mouse goes to sleep? Edit: seems like we can dictate the sleep mode time.. It is stated sin logitech website, sleep mode : variable. i dont know where to manual set the sleep except using the preset power option picture: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « This post has been edited by silentser: Jul 31 2011, 07:34 PM |
