I'm using for DIGI almost 8 years  and I had no more patience with DiGi anymore. The service is getting more and more poor. I went to complain my problem at BTS service centre regarding my problem, I was serve badly by they customer service. I dont think that the correct way to speak with the customer. So end up, I canceled all my DiGi line including my family line since DiGi doesn't appreciate they customer.

Agree with you. I'm in the process of transitioning to U-Mobile after around 13 years with DiGi.

some of us will stay with DiGi till the end (for example, when Telenor finally sells out)

wherever you go, there will be some problems and disappointments too

best of luck anyway to those moving on

Yes. There will disappointments no matter where we go. But at least they serve us like they appreciate us as they customer. Not like Digi ,they don't really care they customer. No customer like poor after sales service.

DiGi Prepaid 3G is way too expensive, if they lowered down the price of 3G prepaid like RM7/RM10 per week with a satisfied quota then it will attract more people as DiGi have nice call rates to other telco at 0.12 or 0.10 cent which i very very like it somemore i'll call back to my grandparents which at Thailand with IDD call and very cheap, talk for 5mins only RM2+- which is very satisfying, and i heard a lot of people port out from DiGi to U Mobile for the Unlimited 3G Plan which RM28 with 500MB quota after that slows down from 14MBPS to 64KBPS, should be okay.

Actually I intend to keep my DiGi till end of this year.
If no improvement, only then I will fully migrate to others (other than Maxis, of course).

DiGi data rates do not make sense

under DiGi Prepaid, best you can get is about RM2/day for 1GB per month (IU15, 250MB per week)

if you want free and easy, like not using every day, it is RM8/day for 30MB [or possibly, 100MB??]

under DiGi Prepaid Internet, can get RM1/day for 3GB per month (top up RM100 for 100 days)

so, there's not enough incentive for prepaid users to use the data services on top of calls and sms

it's better to get a second phone for data only and use the Prepaid Internet sim in it

however, who wants to carry two hps just to save money when other telco like Um can give you a good deal under one prepaid plan

some time back, i think about 2 years ago, i noticed that some of DiGi's packaging was suddenly more orange than yellow

my thought at the time was : is the sun setting on DiGi?

now we see the truth of what orange really means

Umobile are the new DiGi

it's easy to compare them with the DiGi of 10 years ago

at the very minimum, DiGi should make the validity periods cumulative

example, reload RM50 today, got 50 days

add another RM10 tomorrow, add 10 days to the 50 days expiry

otherwise, we are being cheated of validty every time we reload before the expiry date

this is especially true for DiGi Prepaid Internet, where your top up only buys validty and there is no credit balance in the account

adopting this system would encourage reloads, something that Um seems to be doing successfully right now with their free calls offer

let's just say i'm sticking with the devil i know, for the time being

even she is becoming something of a stranger lately

i may be DiGi's greatest fan and critic at the same time

although i have no connection to DiGi other than being a prepaid customer since 22 December 1999, DiGi have acted upon many of my past criticisms and made improvements as a result

I'm sure many more would have done the same and many others already done it.
