I also have a maybank saving account and just like you that account did not so active because I am using RHB as my default account. Better go to the branch tomorrow. Thanks for the info. smile.gif

Already went to the MBB branch where I submit the application and unfortunately they also cannot give me the reason why my application had been declined. They ask me to apply again after 6 month sad.gif

Hi, i plan to request for upgrade to Plat and also a supp card for my dad.

- Will the new Plat card get the same number as my current Gold or a new number?
- Will the supp card get the same number as the principal card?
- Will there be a separate statement or combined for principal and supp?
- Is the TP shared?

Thanks much smile.gif

For CIMB no need, not sure about MBB. Perhaps you can ask for waiver.

Hi All,

Anyone can enlighten on the 20% promotion from Mastercard when charged at USS?
http://www.rwsentosa.com/language/en-US/At...pore/Promotions

The fare will deducted when we do payment? For eg the fare was 52.80. When I proceed to checkout the credit card type you can select among AMEX, VISA, Mastercard.

Does that mean after the amount was charged to Mastercard a 20% discount will be deducted from 52.80 and the statement amount would be 42.24? Kindly advice.  notworthy.gif

I think the 52.80 is after mastercard 20% deduction. Original price for USS before discount for non peak is $66

I used my Maybankard 2 Gold VISA card to buy movie tickets via GSC e-payment, managed to buy 24 tickets and it kept showing "unsuccessful". In the end, I tried using my CIMB DA to purchase another 12 more tickets and it worked.

Anybody tried before buying e-payment? Or each credit card can only purchase 24 tickets? unsure.gif

Most probably I'll need to buy another 24-34 tickets tomorrow in the office. I only have 1 VISA, 1 MasterCard and 1 AMEX. sweat.gif

Maybe your card has been blocked because of several repeated similar transactions at the same merchant. Have you give a call to Maybank CS to check out the card status?

25. How many transactions can I make using my credit card?

You are allowed a maximum of 2 (TWO) transactions per credit card. If you have two credit cards, then you can make 4 transactions.

Crap! laugh.gif Just saw this. Then, I will need to transfer using my Maybank2U tomorrow... sweat.gif
If only AMEX is accepted via e-Payment... sad.gif

According to my experience with CIMB, if the cardmember requested the upgrade, the cardmember is to bear the GST; on the other hand, if the bank offered the upgrade, the bank will absorb.

I found a loophole in Maybankard2 when you change the statement date.

My original Statement Date is 26th of each month.
I requested to change to a NEW statement date, which is 18th of each month, on 15th of June.

Because this, Maybank didn't create Statement for 26th of June but getting it on 18th July instead.... No CC interest until 8 August 2011

How you changed it? Just give them a call? No need to fax in any letter?

Just a call to the CS hotline. They will provide a pre-defined dates to select as Statement Date
