Since TF is also high in demand and always out of stock, might be able to sell higher 2nd hand value?
*
hahaha... i seriously doubt it.

ok la... since we got ppl who come here and post where to buy TF since they can't find it anywhere... to these guys... you mind paying more for a second hand TF? if yes, i think we have a few sellers... myself included. smile.gif

it seem like some people on the net having the same problem. and suggestion to drain the battery. But my stupid TF is at 80 90% power. It happen just after i charged that bugger.
will try draining the batt off....if not working...will send it back.
can get 1 to 1 replacement?
*
you should just call or drop by the asus centre... no point taking 1-2 days to drain the battery only to find out that Asus let you do 1-to-1 swap (usually this is within like first few days -- but you never know). but i think at least call for now and see maybe they can help?

whatever happens... share/ update us. smile.gif

LOL... why do you wanna sell it? Going for iPad?
*
nope... if i sell, it'll be at higher price (higher than retail). i dun mind waiting and buying at the RRP. so, sell... then buy back TF. i can live without TF for a few weeks... lol...

but seriously, i m sure it won't happen la. ipad2, yes... tf101... no.

Wanted to ask , does your transformer have those high pitch noise whining  ? anyone notice it when with the dock or the tablet itself ?
*
not on TF and dock. but i do sometimes hear it on my phone and notebook when they are being charged. is your during charging?

Added on June 18, 2011, 9:19 am@AdliBot some new owners reported that their TF came with 3.1. in that case, dun think u need to expect any firmware. if i m not mistaken, firmware is for 3.0 to 3.1 update. and also some update for the dock... which i din get separately yet. read somewhere, we get it separately from 3.1 update. but some say its together.

That is strange. I could have add reply.
The xda chap who ported the transformer honeycomb 3.1 over to the iconia has done a greatjob. Haven't notice any bugs yet. He has also enabled 3g usb modem support for a range of Huawei usb modems
*
this is sooooo not right. you are using a rom based on TF (our rom!) and you dun get our problems (laggy keyboard)? asus... i want my money back! biggrin.gif

Now i understand you guys frustration with the asus keyboard. It is indeed terribly laggy and poor response especially posting on lowyat forum. I must say is a big difference vs the iconia which is smooth responsive similar to normal typing
I am now running asus honeycomb 3.1 on my iconia. Anyway i solve the lag issue by replacing it with stevelin gingerbread keyboard, at least is now close to the original iconia keyboard
*
close means ? fast enough? still not fast enough?

and do avoid installing gun bros and bug village... dem addictive. lol...

Added on June 20, 2011, 10:44 pmanother game is fire ball. also very addictive though the graphic is obvious that its not optimised for tablets.

1 question for eee pad transformer user, how are you guys liking it? is it recommendable? i am looking into 1 tablet for my own usage sometimes next mth and eee pad seems to be my 1st choice. thx.
*
its ok la as a tablet. you can't run too far off from one tablet to another. rather, it boils down to what you need - like keyboard? usb on tablet? extensive video codec playback? if TF,i' advise ppl to get the full set, meaning with the dock. else, the TF can't transform and live up to its name.

battery drained while tablet is dock but not used...

1 explanation is that your tablets us still 'running' even though its on standby. i first tested it... 10% per 24hrs of standby. not accurate but based on what i saw on my unit -- wifi not turned off during standby, etc...

so, when docked... dock continues to charge the tablet so tablet maintains 99-100% charge. its the dock that loses battery first...

even after trying dolphin and maxthon, i still prefer stock browser.
Stock browser have larger tab. i do a lot of tb browsing.
*
what do you mean by larger tab? the tabs on top? heh heh... i dun need them to be big.

however, i'm still trying to figure out the full functions of Dolphin HD but as it is, i already like it very much. tap on the active tab to close it. it really makes things easier -- efficient in terms of taps. also, trying to figure out how the gesture works... it should be fun! smile.gif

owh...i'll checkitout....maybe it got something to do with country setting, i've set the language to UK as we use similar spelling as them.
i'll try changing to US later, thanks ya! notworthy.gif
*
if u get the pounds symbol instead of dollars, then ya, its kb language problem. but if u mean some keys are located at diff places depending on the keyboard type, ya... i think that is normal...

Last but not least what is the RRP?

Can... i using Maybank Visa Debit Card... Public Bank Debit Card also work...
*
a bit dangerous to be using debit card for internet purchases, no? smile.gif

not sure if CIMB/ direct access still got this thingy -- last time, for online purchases, they issue owners with a virtual card. there is no physical card. just number, the CIF and expiry date. the credit limit is set by yourself and its tied to your actual physical card. i think that's a good way to shop on the net. when you think the card might be compromised, just get the bank to issue a new virtual card.

I kinda feel like a lot of people are staring at me every time I go to Starbucks or any other coffee shop. Like halfway typing or browsing something, I would just undock the TF and then people would be like "OMG, SOME EMO KID JUST BROKE HIS NETBOOK!" Then I plug it back everyone looked a bit shocked.

laugh.gif
*
LOL... i have yet to get such attention from ppl... i need to go a busy starbucks more often...

QUOTE(tyenfei @ Jun 24 2011, 08:37 AM)
Yeah~! Making the Tegra 3 version of transformer to be compatible with exiting dock is a very good point!. At least I'll be the one will plan to get this T3 TF2.

But according to news, Asus get very thin profit from the tablet itself but mainly from the dock. Just hope the marketing team really know exiting TF supporter willing to jump in for another TF2 if the dock just "FIT IN NICELY"  smile.gif
*
but from asus point of view... they may wanna make new docks and 'force' ppl to buy new ones. otherwise, if it becomes a really big hit, china-made copies of the dock will appear... its similar to battery sizes on phones. partly to deter ppl from buying one size fit all kinda product.

Well... much safer then credit card... Debit card you can control the amount of money to use... It's recommended not to use on you primary bank account tongue.gif I always keep only 300 in it...
*
ah... then that explains it. yes... then its very logical and safer than c.card.

Apparently the current dock will fit all future TF models. Maybe if they expand the features provided on the dock then it only makes sense to have a new one.  wink.gif
*
heh heh... they add a network port. smile.gif

but ya, i have heard of the dock being compatible with future models, including the padfone. but they were not from Asus directly... so, i assume those to be all just speculation. smile.gif
