The thing is, when I tried filing joint or separate, or even change my status to Single, individual relief are always 9000rm???

did you mean I will get an extra 9000rm tax relief if I am married but has an unemployed spouse?? Where do I specify that my wife is unemployed???

and for joint assessment, it wouldn't let me get past the Statutory Income and Total Income page, it wants me to fill in something for the "TOTAL INCOME TRANSFERRED FROM HUSBAND / WIFE * FOR JOINT ASSESSMENT". I tried putting in Zero, but it still has an error sign next to it, and wouldn't let me go past it when I tried to e-file it.

The relief for sporting equipment does not extend to shoes or attire.  Unless you find a way to argue that your swimming trunks are so special that you swim faster and can't swim without it, I think you have a hard time justifying that.  Coz then ppl will start claiming their tennis skirts, etc.
*
Basically it's for equipment for the sports...
Eg. Can you play badminton without shuttlecocks and racquets ? No.
Can you play golf without golf balls ? No
Can you swim without swimsuit ? Yes
Can you run barefoot ? Yes

From the above analysis, you will know which sports equipment can be claimed, which cannot be claimed.

Can we we claim for Sports Training equipment like Exercise Bike/Treadmills ?

bought books using the BB1M voucher can use as tax relief ? lol
*
The amount to claim for Tax Relief must be nett-off any vouchers used incl BB1M

Eg.
Books & Magazines : RM300
MPH Voucher : RM100
BB1M Voucher : RM150
Cash/CC : RM50

Tax Relief : RM50 only. (NOT RM300)

Prudential will send a "special" statement for INCOME TAX purpose. You can also call into their hotline to get it (self-service) via fax-back mechanism

Hi guys, i have a noob question. If i were to select "Berasingan" for my type of assessment, by right i should see an amount in the "Rebat cukai individu" at the Summary page right? I have RM400 rebate in my submission last year, but this year there's nil amount. Is there a limit to the disposable income to qualify for this rebate?
*
if your taxable income (after all tax reliefs) is below RM35k, you get another Tax Rebate

Hi,
Anyone knows how to put this dividend at ehasil?  notworthy.gif

This is because for all this unit trust or share dividend, they charged you max 25% first. So, need to declare back for refund.
*
You can ignore the Tax Refund ... then no need to fill up HK3
