Was thinking of applying for 2 cards until I see this TNC. Could they take back the rebate after realising the TNC was not complied at a later time.

3.The Campaign is open to New Customers who successfully apply for any of the following credit cards ("SCB Credit Card") as principal cardholder with the Bank during the Campaign Period:

"New Customers" mean applicants who have not held any Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad credit card whether as principal or supplementary cardholder within the past 12 months before the applicant's credit card under this Campaign is issued.

14.If a New Customer applies for more than one credit card through any application channel during the Campaign Period, the cashback will only be awarded to one credit card, namely the credit card with the highest cashback entitlement.

Example
Mr A applies through one of the Bank's branches for a Gold credit card. He also applies online for a Platinum credit card. The Bank has approved both applications. Mr A will only be entitled to the cashback for the Platinum credit card, namely RM300.

The T&C prevents abuse.... But a few forummers and SCB agent confirms we can get more than 1 x RM300 Cash-Back, up to RM1,200 as the max (as claimed by Price Solutions Tele-Agent)

The RM300 "free" cash is valid for all type of SC card or certain type only?

really confuse with ronnie 'upgrade'. Do you have any forms to fax for upgrade?

Just write a simple letter to request for "upgrade". Then fax over to SCB

offered rm200 credited to my account once approved.....Dunno whether worth the trouble to apply or not...

i've mbb 2 cards and ocbc titanium card at the moment...

RM200 upon approval, RM100 after 45 days ( with 3 swipes). Total : RM300

i'm just worried if there's any hidden t&c, like:

- must retain the card for how many years to be eligible for this
- any hidden minimal spending..

if there's none, it's good to keep, for less than one year, before the 2nd GST kicks in, and after spending the remaining cashback after GST charge, then stop using...

As we know, there shouldn't be any hidden T&C.... when you cancel, probably you get another RM100 "retain-me-fee"

Even if you were given RM300 via Onlne Application, SCB would given RM200 first... who would know which one you entitled to ?

If apply online you get a total of rm300 (from their website).
If apply 'offline' you get a total of rm200 (from the brochure).
Don't care if you get part now and part later, I am just stressing on the method of your application dictates the amount of cash back entitled.
