Might want to install app2sd if possible. Update? I think press Setting> About Phone> Online Update laugh.gif
Haven't tried yet, but Quadrant score is normal. Neocore should be around 45- 46fps. laugh.gif

New owner here, I don't know why my phone is not so smooth when slashing fruits in Fruit Ninja and my Quadrant score is only 1331. Is this normal?
*

Fruit Ninja has some touch detection issues, even my copy lags. But everything else like Guerrilla Bob or Jenga runs super smooth.

Added on May 31, 2011, 9:43 pmMaybe try this here: http://android-proxy.blogspot.com/

Hope I helped smile.gif

You do have to be rooted though..

I myself cannot understand why Google did not put in this simple but essential feature.....

Updated front page with new user list, essential apps and other stuff like custom roms! Dont blame me if you brick your phone lol, even im still learning the ropes.

As for rooting, it is imperative that you root your phone so that you can use apps like SetCPU, AdFree Android, MarketEnabler and Titanium Backup (most important!). So far with mash-up settings in SetCPU, i get an average of almost 1 day of usage before i need to recharge at night.

Thats with Wi-Fi never turned off, push data from Gmail, TweetDeck, music before bedtime, 40 minutes of phone call and massive amounts of texting.

Rooting enable full access for your phone, customization, overclocking, flashing custom roms and lots of modification. And i would say android nowdays live up because of this, freedom to do everything u wan with your phone, ahem thats include bricking as well LOL laugh.gif

As for custom roms, just wait for nightlies for CM6 or CM7, stable version of modaco, pretty sure they're worth waiting. smile.gif

You may also put the widget "Power Control" on ur desktop...and turn off: wifi, bluetooth, GPS, refresh and brightness when you are not using them...this will safe a lot of power. Another way is force stop those apps after using it under Settings - Application - Manage applications - Running -click on the app and select Force stop; becoz most app still running behind desktop when u bck to desktop home.

I full charge mine last night and after one whole day normal using(without playing music, game, video), still 66% of battery.

Btw, SubRoutine pls add me to owner list...thx

does that means i can only choose to use either on? on board 2gb memory or external microsd?

Already tried Star Battalion, PES 2011, Assasins Creed, Hero of Sparta and Samurai II. All working perfectly though Star Battalion got dropped fps when many units on screen.

TS really should put recommended games list for U8800 on Front Page as well.

For android phones with internal SD, after install apps or games, the option to moves to SD is only appliable on internal SD which means apps in ROM, apps or games data on internal SD, as for external SD, its usable only for media files like songs, videos or photos. smile.gif
