QUOTE(calvin_yit @ May 29 2011, 05:10 AM) i prefer fast counterattack football. attack with purpose/pace. Like i said after the blackburn match a few weeks ago, i absolutely hate teams which pings the ball between them just to waste time. Pass around the ball is ok la...as long as got goal...passing ball by having goal scoring is entertaining. But can we vote Shebby out of those analysis in Astro, look stupid really. |

QUOTE(Pain_X @ May 29 2011, 05:08 AM) Critical remarks is one thing, but just watch 4 episodes and note what he says about us. Trust me,you will feel like punching your screen. Well he was a Scouser. He's even listed in the "100 players that rocked the Kop", I believe. I bet if he ever praises United too much he'll get a roasting when he goes back.Actually I remember one incident where the current Astro host asked him a question about Liverpool (again) and Steve was annoyed shot back "Is that why I'm here for, to talk on behalf Liverpool?", the host was annoyed as well and said "Well, yeah!" and he got back a "Alright I'll talk Liverpool..." At least he's being true to his roots. |

QUOTE(gr8fr8 @ May 29 2011, 05:01 AM) Compared this to the 2009 final, this year is definitely better, even though we don't have a superstar like CR7. That year, it was just quite pathetic to im not sure which part are better, to me seems this time even weaker.watch. is quite well above the rest of the team mates in terms performance. Out-thought, out-passed, out-played and out-classed. |

QUOTE(dxjb @ May 29 2011, 05:10 AM) No..the whole Barca 26 man squad received a medal..its the 26 man squad that receives it..the squad was named at the start of the season..Berba was gone from Wembley before kickoff..so I guess he is also 'gone' from Old Trafford too unless he got urgent matters to attend to? |

QUOTE(Reon @ May 29 2011, 05:08 AM) From the moment I saw they wear white and not red, that already was a bad sign... Why we can't wear red when we are playing in England, our home soil? dei.. the draw was like that.. Barca's half was drawn to be home side..wembley is a neutral ground.. any champions league final venue is a neutral ground.. |

i understand that. But u can always analyse a team performance without being nasty and putting ur own agenda into it. I remember during the half time show, tat fat idiot said united deserves to be brought to school. Chasing shadows...blah blah blah. Dammit, like he never commented be4 in a barca match. 9 times of out 10, teams who plays barca chases shadow. zzzzzzz

It is not considered as 'home' even though it is in England. During the knockout phase draw, it is already pre-determined whoever gets to final, which team will be 'home' and 'away'. Not based on home country of the team. Losing to a great team is alrite for me. Although it should be more interesting for United than that. They are not as ruthless as they are known for. Oh well, the summer will be an interesting one. |

QUOTE(k-bkeat @ May 29 2011, 05:13 AM) It was decided in the draw that Barca would play the home side, so United had to wear the away kit.Berba rumor: sos: Google "berbatov wembley", many same texts as below: QUOTE Manchester United Forward Dimitar Berbatov Has Reportedly Left Wembley After He Was Left Completely Out Of Sir Alex Ferguson’s Champions League Final Team To Face Barcelona On Saturday. Instead He Is With Tottenham? London, England (Sporting Alert) — Dimitar Berbatov is reportedly not even at Wembley after being left completely out of Manchester United team for the Champions League Final against Barcelona. Berbatov, the team’s leading goalscorer and joint golden boot winner in the league this season, was as expected left out of United’s starting XI by Sir Alex Ferguson, but it was shocking that the Bulgarian not even amongst the substitute on Saturday. Reports are claiming that Berbatov could be on his way to meet with representatives from Tottenham, after it was suggested that Spurs boss Harry Redknapp was interested in bringing back the striker to White Hart Lane this summer. But it was only recently that Berbatov dismissed claims that he would be leaving Old Trafford. He said: “I will go nowhere. I am part of United’s 19th title and I want to be part of the 20th, that’s my plan. “I am the happiest man in the team because I’m a champion and top goalscorer in the league.” It is still left to be seen whether or not the striker will be a member of the United team come next season. |

My thoughts from the match?
- No player can stop Messi other that Pepe, he's the only one I know who can effectively stop Messi. - Only Rooney and Park wanted to play football, others just waited to defend. - Messi played like a playmaker tonight, like Rooney's role for United. - Barca found a good central defender in Mascherano, replacement for Puyol perhaps? - Valencia played like shit, Chicharito never gotten into the match, Giggs had a quiet match. - Thanks for everything Edwin Van Der Sar, you did well, there's nothing you can do about the goals. - David Villa scored an awesome goal, Messi too. Tho our defence fell asleep for Messi's goal. Next season, we need some signings for improvements. Heard that Berba went off before the kick-off. Nowhere to be seen. Bye-bye Berba, Van Der Sar, and Scholes! |
