QUOTE(Wan @ Jun 11 2011, 03:21 PM) I think if Scholes stayed on for another year, SAF won't make moves to sign someone to play in the middle and wait for Ando to grow into that role, and give Gibson chances to impress. Scholes can't and won't be played in all games so that will give chances, limited as it may be to Gibson and the others. But seeing that Scholes is gone, and Ando still not quite there, we'll buy a safe option to plug the gap. I don't see us splashing the cash for the likes of Modric, Sneijder though. If they cost around 20m, maybe. and the wage structure too is a problem...i dont think a player like Sneijder would settle for anythg less than a hundred thousand per week..if these 3, De Gea PJ and Young do come, then imo another signing is unlikely...Varane's link has also gone cold now...maybe, just maybe we can finally see some reserves break into the first team Added on June 11, 2011, 3:28 pm QUOTE(dlct87 @ Jun 11 2011, 03:25 PM) i think theirs is 16mil + add ons become 20mil...but Henderson's age is 20 and PJ is 19, so he is not in the "teen" category anymore This post has been edited by SGSuser: Jun 11 2011, 03:28 PM |

QUOTE(O-haiyo @ Jun 11 2011, 03:04 PM) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Yes, definitely for Brown's sake. At least, that's what I think. For Oshea, I believe he still can offer us something, fullbacks mostly. We got a young defenders lineup, so he could offer us the experience.De Gea 20m, Young 16m, Jones 16m(not suppose to come this window).. and we still haven't brought in anyone for our most pressing need. Just like what happened in 98 after we spent so much on Stam, Yorke and Blomqvist, the club may want to recoup some money back. QUOTE(Wan @ Jun 11 2011, 03:38 PM) I'd keep O'Shea just for that reason. He can still have a part to play even if he's behind the others in the pecking order. If Brown & O'Shea goes, we're left with Rio, Vida and Evra as the seniors. Jones 19, Smalling 22, Evans 23, Twins 21 and if we end up signing De Gea(21), that's a very young set of defenders and GK. As good as they are, it's still too early to put our trust in them to play together regularly(Rio's injury concerns, and god help us if Vida and Evra are out for a couple of months together at the same time). I'd really welcome the possibility of second generation "Fergie Fledglings" De Gea 20m, Young 16m, Jones 16m(not suppose to come this window).. and we still haven't brought in anyone for our most pressing need. I think Cleverley will be given some chances next season. May be on the bench, but better than nothing. At least if he gets to play...

why some ppl say its consider splashing the cash or overpriced if we sign modric or sneijder but its okay for 20million young? lol. both modric and sneijder is worth the extra 5-10million if 20million for young is considered 'okay'.
priority is in the middle of the park, we have enough wingers even if we dont sign Young. Alot of players are fast, but not all have the football brain and energy to play in the middle of the park IMHO. |

Ashley Young and Modric was BPL proven, thats why they was tag with 20m, Especially Ashley Young who is English player. As we all know, English player always rated high.priority is in the middle of the park, we have enough wingers even if we dont sign Young. QUOTE MO, De Gea is in the bag. Surely we can't wait that long, not after what happens in the past. If he doesn't want to join, tell us now so we can move to the next target. No point waiting for a long time only for him to decline us and other targets have already moved on leaving us with gaping hole to fill. But until it's confirmed, it's still up in the air I guess leaving us sweating. But again IMO, the club already know what the decision is. and all this were assuming from the gaffers word were "interested".weve had players turning us down on the 11th in the past so this isnt confirmed either.besides i think if this one doesnt work, the gaffer must have back up plans, fail to plan is planning to fail. fingers crossed he is deflecting just to get some peace for the u21 tourney. as for our reserve lads, pogba, morrison and many all have talent but they are not ready yet.cleverly, wellbeck, kiko and diouf are the ones we'ill see more and more next season imo with spaces opening tho none of the slots in defence kohkoh as for pogba, morrison and the others next season will be their "intro" season starting with the league cup.they may look ready now, but the playing field isnt the same at the moment tho they are knocking all the right doors. Bebe to join Besiktas on loan and probably permanent transfer?
QUOTE Bebe to make Besiktas switch - report Manchester United forward Bebe will spend next season on loan at Besiktas with a view to completing a £2 million move to the Turkish club, according to reports. Bebe, 20, joined United in a shock £7.4 million deal from Portuguese club Vitoria de Guimaraes last summer and has really struggled to make his mark at Old Trafford. The Portugal Under-21 never played a game for Vitoria was available for £125,000 from his old club Estrela da Amadora just months before he joined United and Sir Alex Ferguson admitted he had only seen the player on video. Turkish news agency Dogan Haber Ajansi (DHA) claim Bebe, who had only played club football in the Portuguese third division before joining United, has agreed to join Besiktas to get his career back on track. With Aston Villa forward Ashley Young on the brink of completing a move to United to provide more options out wide, Bebe will be allowed to go out on loan. If the deal is made permanent it would represent a £5.4 million loss for United. http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story/_/...-report?cc=3436 Now this would make more sense for Young to come. |
