Why you need to be so sacarstic everytime ppl mention about transfer?
I know is not a done deal yet but can't we express ourself here? There is no football being played during this time.... whatelse you expect others to post?? Rooney getting hair transplant??
What are we losing if we discuss about all this rumours?
Discuss? To be honest I don't see much discussing. As in pointing out the pros and cons of a player. Most of the time it's someone posting an article, quote source then put the tepuk tangan smiley as if the signing is already done. Then when that player stays at his club, or move to another club, come out with emo posts. Why SAF so degil duwan sign star player? At the end of the day, just because of some unproven rumour, ppl like SAF and David Gill was blamed.
Who doesn't want big signing? I have a few Inter shirts and most of them I have Sneijder printed on. But u don't see me calling out his name and celebrating each time his name is mentioned in an article, because I know his position isn't the type that the club usually utilizes. Think the transfer as "will the club benefit from him?" rather than "do I want him?".
More often than not these transfers didn't happen. Look at De Gea, a few weeks ago rumour is so strong that he will be unveiled by the club as new signing. Even reported by Soccernet. But the truth is he will only decide his future at the end of the tourney he is playing in now.
I'm sure if everyone can post proper opinions on the rumours (why you think that player will fit into the club, why not, how likely is the rumour etc) instead of acting like a muppet in Sesame Street, jumping up and down flailing arms each time a name is mentioned, then this thread will have a more positive vibe. Seriously, even threads like Chelsea and Liverpool I see more critical discussions on transfers than us, when they are the clubs that are more likely to sign name quoted in news. To be fair thw discussions on PJ is good because I see many discuss his attributes, position, transfer value etc. Rather than "oh not in my wanted list".
