at this pt nothing is a surprise any more.seriously does it matter who walks on that field??as long its a lad in our kit, we know what we want from them, the gaffer knows what he demands from them.

Added on May 29, 2011, 1:20 amwhat play offs were at ot yesterday/today??

edit:found it already, npower league playoffs match between torquay/stevenage.

let's hope it's bcuz of the injury rather than sidelined for form-related reasons.

i mean, to be not even featured on the bench..is rather cruel to me
*
park was left out in moscow too.and not forgetting he was absolutely superb in the 2nd leg against barca back then.form, stats, luck, charm, formation and even players a b c d ..x y z...all goes out of the window in a final.

90 min+++ for our team on AND off the field to get us to the finish line. flex.gif

hmm if we go by the of park's case in moscow then i guess berba's is virtually a non-issue

nvrtheless, i'm pretty damn sure whoever gets on the pitch will give his 110% to make everyone proud!
*
thats the spirit.yeah we all feel for the ones left out but think of the gaffer whom actually have to make the decision, thats the as big as it gets compared to anything else.im more then sure berbs, rafael and the others will be supporting and going trough it all as if they are the ones on the pitch.

First half:

Valencia really not his day...probably too nervous for final
Evra really off today...just now towards the end he missed again...
Giggs really nowhere to see...
Carrick at least has few nice thru balls....

Park is the man, covering Evra...then run over right wing to cover Valencia then in the middle cover Giggs...he is everywhere
*
aye on valencia.but we need to give him a break.remember this is his first big game, and he was out for a long time.lets see what he can do in the 2nd half then bring on nani whom have a better experience on nerves.

so next season final is in munich ehh.

well i say better charge your batteries, regroup your united spirit coz what ever taunts, jibes , defeats, comments and that expertly managerial decision you guys have will be 100 times more perilous next season.but were UNITED and thats what we relish.

we will try to reach there again and when we do come next season, the season after that and on i want to meet barca again and again.there is no other way to banish these demons besides we beating it until we get it right thats what we need.

But with Cleverley issit enough to improve MU mid field? i think need 1 more...dun bash me ar! i just got little feeling about this.
*
x pe xpe now is the time for transfer talk.you want another 10 cm,am, bm, mc, or what ever they are called oso can. tongue.gif

but if we do buy another midfield man, that will either mean scholes retiring or cleverly getting less chances.at the moment lets say scholes continues for next season then we may not need another man in midfield.carrick, fletch, ando, cleverly scholes, gibbo thats a healthy number and depth.with owen released freed up 1 space and may be up to gibbo and cleverly to tussle it out.

'We are only allowed to coach youngsters for an hour and a half, they [Barcelona] can coach every hour of the day if they want to. '

SAF's comment

SOS
he means there's a quota of hours for clubs in England to coach youngsters?
*
yup, and there is more rules when it comes to youth.clubs can only bring in players who live a certain distance from their club and etc etc.it wasnt like this back in the mid 90s where youth football was blooming every where.but now clubs have to outsource them since the british seems intent on capping their own young generations future.

with professional football they are off the streets, doing hard work, getting discipline in them and not fogetting education on and off field.

this is abit complicated because our 4 first choice strikers all aren't direct replacements for each other.
i can only see like-for-like between owen and chicha.
berba and rooney are totally different kinds of players.
berba is an out-and-out striker and usually operates best with a strike partner so i'm thinking he would do well if paired with someone like chicha instead of rooney, but i don't see rooney missing many matches unless we play 4-3-3
SAF is hinting at the flawed FA decisions.
FA decisions are to help smaller clubs (since got many in england) to keep their prospects from all being swooped away by BPL giants.
However, BPL giants claim that smaller clubs although can give these players playing time they cannot match the football education BPL giants can afford them.
he isn't that old despite his looks  doh.gif
*
true that on that part.no matter how developed the league structure in england is, clubs in the top 3 tier is has more to offer then the ones way below.

rather meet them in 2 leg games.. think we got better chances
*
nay!!rather meet them in final and beat them there and there to put the demon to bed or else forever they will say greatest, unbeatable etc etc.

thats why im really hoping that we can reach the final next season no matter how tough it is and they must be there too.too many unfinished business with barca right now.
