i want to ask 1 thing, how does the weight of the headset feel on ones head?

in dilemma either buy this or px21....

The headset is really light and I for one CANNOT bear heavy headsets or headsets with a very stiff headband.

Thankfully, the Sony official wireless headset is light and the headband is flexible enough that it doesn't apply a huge amount of pressure onto my head.

It is about the same weight as the PX21 too, which to me is one of the lightest gaming headsets I've ever experienced with.


See if you really mind the messy cables of the PX21 or not and if you want the Virtual 7.1 surround sound.
If so, then the Sony headset isn't too bad a choice.

i think i'll just get sony since px21 cost more and i hate cables.u also know that i use wired usb headset to chat in-game right?

Ok for some short review, i like the feel of lightness when wear it, and the cushion cup covered ur whole ears feel comfortable and almost u not feel the pressure in the head.

the quality sounds is 8/10 (its VIRTUAL 7.1) and for me, the freedom to move arround in the house while wearing it, gives me flexibility.

And its price is consider cheap among its class!

Wow, professionally taken photos. I'm drooling over it now.

It's the same Steelseries Siberia V2 headset as the PC which came out a year ago.
Extremely comfortable headset, even more comfortable than the Sony wireless headset or the Turtle Beach PX21.

On it's own, it's a solid 2.0 stereo headset.
Lacking in bass, but the mid and high range is pretty good.
Sound quality are mostly crisp and clear until you crank up the volume beyond 70% though.

The Steelseries LiveMix feature is an added bonus though, it's handy when you want to hear chat volume more than the game volume (although it isn't as dynamic as the one found in the Turtle Beach).
Last thing, I love the retractable boom mic.

Nice headset, if comfort is absolutely the most important aspect.. you won't find many which will beat the comfort of the Siberia V2.
You have to however, deal with wires.

Why i say much batter then Tritton A730 coz i have it also and trust me just go for Sony 7.1
