setting > wireless & network settings > mobile network > Access Point Names...

If blank means no APN has been define.

Since I've updated to CM7.1 I forgot which screenshows networks selection. I believe it migh be under setting > wireless & network settings > mobile network

where you could choose GSM Only, WCDMA ONLY, or both (both is recommended)

Since its the first CM7.1 a lot of things need to be polish... but all SE exclusive apps not in the rom... such as xloud, panorama, bravia engine... but don't know if SE will assists CM team to add those exclusive apps...

A lot of the user mention they have problem with APN, Data connection and vibration which I'm not dealing with such issue...

To get avoid major bugs, you can try to use the mention steps which need to be flash with .368 roms provided in the XDA 1st page by FXP then flashing the CM7.1

My major concern currently is the battery drain... might be due to the stock rom issue .368

Camera same as stock only the UI not as attractive as SE...

So far satisfied with it... since have a refresh looks and can change themes to have a refresh feel... oh don't forget you can OC which defaulted upon flashing the roms is at 1.5GHz... which more than ARC S...

For ARC S user... DoomLord from CM mention he will release a new kernal which can OC up to 2.0GHz...

go to XDA forum... search for 2.3.4 firmware which the start with 4.0.1.A... then flash using flash tools

FYI, SE releasing 4.0.2.A firmware... so you can check again in XDA if ppl has updated the latest rom

currently CM7.1 have battery drain issue to most of ppl

This the simplest method....

Basically:
- flash using Flash tool to Global Generic 2.3.3 rom.
- Then root using gingerbreak
- Then OTA to 2.3.4 - 4.0.A.2.368
- Then OTA again to another 2.3.4 - 4.0.1.A.0.283
- You will have rooted 2.3.4

You can see on the file size... using stock... the file size is most of the time below 1MB.... should be more than that since 8MP

Anybody having red light blinking while charging the phone (phone state = off).

I have low batteries this morning.... and turn off the phone to charge... at first the led light is green... and suddenly it change to red light blinking... and not able to turn on the phone...

Is it because the battery is completely flat?

done that... when charging... the red light blinking and then change to green light for a while... a 1 or two minutes later it flashing red again... T.T

Added on December 1, 2011, 5:35 pmalthough XDA provide solution... seems I choose to send it to SE service center and hopefully can claim warranty for hairline crack as well besides the main issue claims... thinking to change the housing to white... huhuhuhuhuh... if they allow...

shouldn't be the problem.... try check ur setting... if everything ok... factory reset your phone... but u will lose ur apps and setting made... inclusive sms or notes stores on the apps

Heheheh... congrats bro... by the way just for FYI, it same as your desktop... since all browser certificate will cross checking with the desktop date hence if the desktop date is 1980... the the cert is not activated / expired... happy.gif

your clock reset to 1980 might be due to you have take out the battery for a long period... happy.gif
