Added on June 9, 2011, 12:06 amThat's good news for those that are still on 2.3.2 and havent updated OTA or via SEUS.

Personally, I was with that exact set up, however I did NOT do an OTA update but a SE PCC one and lost my Gingerbreak root, though retained all other settings and apps.

I would be cautious and wait for more comments at the XDA, especially from the senior members.

Factory reset always clear all user apps - that's why its called a FACTORY reset. However, your 2.3.3 ROM will still be 2.3.3 Good luck

I turn off my phone before I sleep but now my battery is down from 85 to 32%? Looks like standby takes less power than phone shutdown. hmm.gif

2.3.3 fixes battery drain for good. 2 days with massive usage still got 40%

as for me. unroot. upgrade. enjoy 2.3.3
once 2.3.3 rootable. then only think of rooting.

Cool, so you can try the method to get root easier as you on .181. update through OTA is said will maintain the root
