oledi updated get it rooted not by using DoomLord from xda, but using Bin4ry script, preserving my stock kernel hehe..

nope, its still 2.3.3 but i like it.. can change themes, got zoom in function for the camera.. havent tried the xloud function yet..

u can update it through flashtool.. the ftf file oledi available at xda..

it means ur region firmware not yet released it.. wait for a while or u can try flash the generic global firmware on xda..

the new launcher is snappy compared to previous.. im using back timescape widget as it doesnt laggy like b4

btw i like themes, now can change to black color, no nid to apply custom theme..

u can choose not to wipe data. but for me, it is a best practice to start fresh on new firmware for compatibility issue..

but no root for locked bootloader for now tho..

juz notice playing mkv files much smoother on moboplayer compared to previous firmware..

Ur home screen can b viewed in landscape mode, which is horizontal.. But I can't seem to get it on my arc..is the landscape mode really exist on our home launcher? Didn't really bother though..

you flashing prerooted rom? Y don't you just flash fresh rom, and root it either using doomlord kernel or bin4ry script..

yes, to acquire root unlocked bootloader is needed for now as there is no root available for locked bootloader yet..

what firmware you on now? And which firmware you want to update?

it is not available yet for our region.. the only way for u to get the firmware now is through flashtool, n for now only certain region oledi got the update..

so far only HK, sweden n generic global rom got the update...

learn more bout flashtool if u wanna flash...

yup, landscape only when via hdmi..

ive tried global generic n sweden rom, sweden tends to giv me more internal storage compared to generic global..

some few bugs that i encountered:

timescape widgets stated 'widgets already added' eventho i didnt add it yet.
some of the apps will fc suddenly, but no big deal.

take ur time, dun rush on doing this thing..

if urs is on 2.3.2, update to 2.3.3 as it solves the sync prob..

if u oledi update ur phone, n the playback still freeze sometimes, possibly its bcoz of the stock microsd which is class 2.. upgrade to higher class card..

The score is around 1600+ for me..don't compare with dual core as dual core will be much higher..

If you want custom rom for this phone, do keep in mind the camera driver still not accessible to developer, so camera won't work for now..
