Hi all, I have been travelling to Taiwan actively. Some of the nice places that you must go to includes Beitou hot springs, Yangmingsham parks, Danshui old streets, not to mention their signature night markets with the most popular one being Shi Ling Night market. Taiwan is also a great place with many theme restaurants which is very popular among their locals and also Asian people. If you plan to go to Taiwan, it is recommended that you check out their theme restaurants, especially the Hello Kitty cafe, for ladies. I have included some useful links which details many important and interesting places. Do check it out too.

- taipei free and easy itinerary

- Taiwan weather and Typhoons

- 3 Theme restaurants you must visit in Taipei

- 3 maid theme cafes in Taipei.

- price comparison tool and lastest promos

I just came back from Taipei last week. 9 day 8 night trip, i spent roughly RM2700 include of accommodation, food, transport and shopping (min shopping as I'm not a shopper) but my friend did spent almost RM5k because he did a lot of shopping like books, CDs and etc....

So it is depend on yourself, if only sightseeing with minimum shopping RM2500 should be fine.

Anyway not sure about the weather during September, you can google it.

Oh ok, thanks for reply.

I've already bought the ticket so will be there no matter what. I am thinking about to bring RM8k - RM9k including accommodation for TWO person, both of us like to shop on apparel and loves good food. Hopefully it's enough for us to spend.

8k to 9k is more than enough...haha....you can buy the whole taipei. Just kidding. If you love Japanese food you will fall in love with Taipei, their japanese raw fish is awesome (fresh and affordable), I ate 7 slice of Black Toro belly for only RM40...my gosh and it is fresh...heavenly! lol.... drool.gif

WOW! Tat's lot...for 2 person we spend RM3500 --- food, hotels & transportation. Shopping is really not cheap in Taiwan especially apparel compare to HK & BKK.So for shopping we din really do much after we went to wufenpu, is nothing to shout abt and all clothes from China.

Hey check this out http://www.kawayu-spa.com.tw/. Travel to a MRT station call shipai same line with beitou line. Get a taxi from MRT station to this hot spring place (cost TWD130) then you can choose to go public pool or private room for couple. Public pool cost TWD 200 per pax. Its is quite fun to try the public pool as every one is naked ....lol
