that would depend on ur shooting position.
some ppl also dont like monopods straight up and prefer it at an angle for more stability, thats where a ballhead comes into play.

Get the original Nikon battery. If you're more to shooting videos, get a better memory card like Class 6 or greater =D

Get a Class 10 card, preferably SanDisk Extreme Pro series, and one would never go wrong smile.gif

I dunno bout you but i dont wanna risk my camera being spoilt by 3rd party battery just because you wanna save a few bucks sweat.gif
