I fed up already with 4K+DXVA.

Anyway, you don't actually need to use DXVA to play 4K video. If you got strong processor, you can watch 4K video smoothly. On my notebooks, without DXVA, it play smoothly. Only sometime micro-lag a bit. But after I re-installed codec, it lag a bit more but still a bit smooth.
BTW, after countless reinstalling codecs, I'm still unable to play 4K video with DXVA on both of my notebooks.

No. BIOS mod is just my hobby.
It depend whether it clear CMOS or not. On my old Acer notebook, everything reset.

You can use "4K Downloader" to download 4K video from Youtube.
