where got U3 for RM60?
will it be bulky since by backpack can fit my lappy ngam2...
*
Notepal U2 dimension: 343 x 266 x 58.6 mm
Notepal U3 dimension: 420 x 320 x 65 mm

U2 is smaller than U3. You can buy extra fan if you want 3 fan with U2.

Anyway, you can buy U2 & U3. U3 for use at home, while U2 for mobile.

On my Dell Studio can set Function key first or Multimedia key first. If set Multimedia key first, only need to press F2. If set Function key first, will need to press Fn+F2 keys. Press Win+X keys to see whether you can change Fn key behavior.

Increasing TDP Limit from 25W to 45W also didn't improved the result. cry.gif Since you already tested OC, I won't bother to test it myself. tongue.gif

when i running intel burn test, my CPU just 50% utilized. u check Task Manager and see...

Same here. I use ThrottleStop to check CPU utilization. I found IntelBurnTest doesn't fully utilized the CPU when running the stress test. On mine, it only utilized CPU 100% at the beginning & before the stress test finished. When I ran wPrime (32M) benchmark, CPU is utilized 100%. So, in IntelBurnTest case, it's not because CPU throttling.

(Look in C0% column)

I was going to suggest the same thing after I read IntelBurnTest Readme. At night I use my Dell. So, I'll test this on my Dell later.

Added on August 16, 2011, 12:46 amTested IntelBurnTest CPU utilization with i7-720QM. However with this processor, it does throttling. This is screenshot when IntelBurnTest is running at first time:-
user posted image

CPU temps are very high but the score is similar with your P8700. When I ran IntelBurnTest for the second time, CPU start throttling & CPU utilization on all 8 threads are only 50%-55%.

Added on August 16, 2011, 1:09 amUPDATE: I forgot to set CMod (Clock Modulation) to 100%. If not, i7-720QM will badly throttled. With CMod set to 100%, i7-720QM+IntelBurnTest got the same result as i5-450M got; 100% CPU utilization only at beginning & end of the stress test. This is wPrime running with 8 threads, 100% CPU utilization.:-

so kizwan, we must restricted the threads like 4 for my core i5-460M?

like cow said cpu utilization 50% only that the reason behind.
*
According to my test, IntelBurnTest doesn't fully utilized Intel Core i processors. Constricting to only 4 threads also doesn't help either. Can you disabled HyperThreading (HT) on your computer? If you can, try disabled HT & try run IntelBurnTest again (set threads to Auto or 2).

how to disable HT? hmm.gif bang u modded the bios but u know what lappy i using right? susah lah i'm not good in this dip!

disable HT will make ur cpu fully utilize but got any side effect bo??
Your Dell Inspiron 15R notebook use Dell BIOS & it's UEFI. You might want to go to BIOS-MODS if you want unlocked BIOS.

Anyway, not worth it. Disabling HT only make the computer performance lower. However, some people like to disabled HT when playing games since not many games support multithreads anyway. It helps lower the power consumption which will make the CPU run much cooler. On some games it makes them run much smoother too.

*
Yes, other bank since you have CIMB right. Make sure you use Internet Explorer. My first Top-Up using firefox doesn't go through. After reporting to both PayPal & RHB, they refunded the money (around 2 weeks). Second Top-Up I use Internet Explorer 9. Successful transaction.

Added on August 18, 2011, 8:39 pmBTW, disabled any pop-up blocker. During Top-Up, a lot of Pop-Up window will appear.
