Playing without DXVA still use GPU acceleration instead of CPU alone.

• ATI Radeon HD 4570
  • when setting external filter to MPC - Video decoder (Prefer), 4K video still doesn't use DXVA.
• ATI Radeon HD 5870
  • when setting external filter to MPC - Video decoder (Prefer), 4K video seems using DXVA. I saw "Playing [DXVA]" but after that BSOD.
• Nvidia GeForce GT335M
  • same result with HD 4570.

Unlocking hidden options/menu in UEFI still experimental. It can bricked your computer. If you want to take the risk, I can prepare test file for you.

If you're referring to dual-IDA like lee_what did in his notebook, this can't be done on your computer since your computer have different processor & different platform.

Dunno. Who are you? Your BIOS is UEFI. It's not easy to mod UEFI. What kind of mod you're looking for (target/objective)? What CPU temps you got when running IntelBurnTest?

Oh boy! That sound naughty. Anyway, if CPU temperature is not too high, you can use ThrottleStop to fix the CPU throttling. Try use setting like this:-

Set CMod to 100%, multiplier to Turbo, disabled C1E, press Save & press "Turn ON".

Laptop have CMOS battery. Need to disconnect the battery to reset CMOS. CMOS reset jumper is rare on laptop.

Good advice.

Some notebook have two unsoldered jumper. Need to use a test pen to short-circuit (or connect) this jumper to reset password/CMOS.

Yes. Run something & see if there is any improvement. "something" like IntelBurnTest. Don't forget to monitor temperature.

Please try "-v2" instead of "-V2". Doesn't matter. Singapore or Thailand 4820TG, all are the same.

If you see "Monitoring" word at ThrottleStop title bar, it means OFF. If not, it's turn ON. The screenshot you gave me earlier show ThrottleStop is turn ON.
