QUOTE(lee_what2004 @ Aug 27 2011, 04:52 PM) Kizwan, since last time you said none of the hidden option in BIOS SXPS 16 is for performance, is there any for power saving? There are probably C-States settings you can use. I'll check again & will let you know later. This BIOS, right?http://support.ap.dell.com/support/downloa...anConsent=False Added on August 27, 2011, 5:58 pm QUOTE(cowithgun @ Aug 27 2011, 05:54 PM) My fallen comrade!!! QUOTE(joanneway @ Aug 28 2011, 12:09 PM) Unlocking hidden options/menu in UEFI still experimental. It can bricked your computer. If you want to take the risk, I can prepare test file for you.If you're referring to dual-IDA like lee_what did in his notebook, this can't be done on your computer since your computer have different processor & different platform. Please try "-v2" instead of "-V2". Doesn't matter. Singapore or Thailand 4820TG, all are the same.

joanne: OK. Now the CPU won't throttling. So, what application you use before you feel slow/sluggish? Try use that application. You should feel the application running smoothly.

QUOTE(shanelai @ Sep 3 2011, 08:44 AM) First of all, sorry I didn't look this closely. Second of all, as you mentioned it before, yours is 4820TG. Unlike 3820TG, 4820TG have Insyde BIOS. This means, symcmos.exe utility won't work because it only works with Phoenix BIOS. |
