ya, dont recommend you to do that unless you are perfectly sure that OC is really really stable.

i tested GPU-Z sensor tab while playing game, no slow down.

How is your OC?

i'm working.. later only go b tried.. u din make permanent? 550 for core sure stable de lah..

no slow down but smooth bo?? if bring laptop to office.. boss keep asked me what im doin.. play games ah?

i dont OC when start up. so far, i only OC for benchmarking and for demanding game such as The Witcher 2. Hopefully new Catalyst can improve the performance.

u play sc2 din OC meh??

no OC. smooth lar in Ultra setting. i turn off Reflection though.

yameh?? mine not smooth leh.. ur resolution? 1280x760 or 1366x768.. all ultra setting? shadow on?? sure bo? dun kan bao v me.. fps below 30 leh..

Did you enable the Advance AI? it makes a lot of difference.

what advanced AI u mean?? bro how to set the clock permanent 550? i wanna stress the GPU!

to set it permanent, best to Mod the ATI BIOS. alternatively, just use the MSI Afterburner to "apply at startup".

however, i dont recommend you to do that, unless you are very sure that the 550 clock is OK. (which usually is), so, before you make it permanent, do this:

1. use MSI Afterburner set it to 550.
2. run MSI Kombustor benchmark, 3dmark06, furmark, etc etc, watch out for temperature and artifacts. for 30 minutes (total)
3. if not artifacts, no crash, it should be 'pretty' OK.
4. make sure temperature not above 90C!

that is the lazy version, if you want further assurance, and have time, consider do this:

OC is safe if you know what you are doing. so, ya. if u not sure. dont risk it.

Ok. Finally I got time to factory reset my laptop. Got 11.5b running without any problems. Thank you, cowithgun.

Anyway, I got The Witcher 2 running on Medium settings. I found that if you disable Uber Sampling and SSOD for The Witcher 2, you got a much smoother game. Not to forget update it with the newly released 1.1 patch. Happy wasting the hours away playing this game!

OHM & MSI AB & hwmonitor show 127.5 but hwinfo32 ok.. i dun this time is the glitch at all.. but 127.5 show up twice as u can see from there.. i straight away set 500 core then 550 core.. straight play games.. got improve.. especially sf4 & sc2!

damn easy lah.. i was waiting u whole day & sifu lee.. u notice 127.5 deg? not normal right?? happened twice.. did u notice? 3 software showed same shit temp damn.. dulan.. date a gal almost 1 mth keep rejected me gave me lame excuse..

been quite busy today. when they change the fan for you, didnt you show them the temperature as well? may be they can change the sensor as well?

ps: on second thought, the sensor is probably part of the GPU, to change that, need to change the whole mobo...

I am always a fan of action RPG. So, when Hunted: The Demons Forge released, I do what I must...

Here is a gameplay video for the begining of the game. The game is very smooth with 60-50 FPS, thanks to the Unreal engine. That is running on 1366x768 at max setting without Vsync. In worst FPS, it went down to 40 FPS in Fraps recording. I really like story driven action RPG. So, at the moment, the following games are in my playlist:

1. Fable 3 (Just started, the graphic is too blurry, not my type...)
2. The Witcher 2 (stuck in the town, need to do trouble-some quest to gain money...)
3. Hunted: The Demons Forge (my new love)

Out the the 3, I like the Hunted: The Demons Forge the best!
