can you verify if you have already updated it successfully?

- Right click on desktop, Graphic properties
- Information, Software
- Driver Packaging version: 8.812

If that is the version, and you can switch graphic (back and forth to Intel), there is nothing to worry about. Most people will have problem switching it back to Intel if you did not change to discrete in BIOS. It must be your lucky day.  laugh.gif

I noticed that the prices of Ram's are so cheap compared to a few years ago.
Will it make a big difference between 4gb ram on my laptop and 6gb?
Only use it for surfing and Ms Office.

8.741 is the default Catalyst driver... yup, it was not updated successfully. use the steps i posted earlier, will work. recommend to update it if you care for extra performance and stability. biggrin.gif

sorry! i was busy trying to complete Dragon Age: Origins! this game is looooooong even if i rush to main story ignoring almost all side quest. completed the game, but discovered that i actually lost many many stuff. for example, i didn't manage to get Leliana and a nice dog to join my fight!

i m also wondering what will happen if i chose other options many times during the game... wonderful game, it makes me wanna play it again... but with different class, style, etc... the ending is probably not going to be the same too...

here is my ending:

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Dragon Age: Awaken will release in March I heard. Will play that for sure! Mean while, I am still considering if I should download those DLC... or move on to the next game...

OK, here is my updated completed game list:

0. Starcraft 2
1. Darksiders
2. Prototype
3. Dawn of War 2 (Chaos Rising)
4. Mass Effect 1
5. Mass Effect 2
6. Star Wars - The Force Unleashed
7. Dragon Age: Origins

after installing Catalyst 11.1, you should really try to set the AI to Advanced. I got huge FPS gain! i even tested the new "Extreme" mode in Starcraft 1.2 patch. it is much smoother than previously, but with 6 protoss carriers, the graphic is not as smooth as it can be. i recommend to remove reflection and indirect shadow setting to make it smoother...

ps: just tested with Fraps, i m getting 40++ FPS in early game with Extreme setting (previously only has Ultra, I guess Extreme setting is new in 1.2 patch), with reflection off... forget about indirect shadow, let it on, should have no effect during gameplay
