hi guys, im interested to get the 3830tg or 4830tg... but one thing im worried is how to use and charge the battery at the same time? issit safe? cos i normally use my pc with ac adapter witout battery n only use battery when outside... cos i normally on my lappy whole day through nite so just wondering if the batt is intact all the way use the lappy how?

yeah...just installed DA2 on my lappy..
can play on high, 8xAA, DX11 and high reso pack without major lag..
but my core #0 max temp on 77c and core#1 max temp on 91c...and my GPU max on 71c...in a non air cond room..
is it normal?

I'm back with a question. XD

Why does my intel graphics sometimes will alter the brightness?

It's like, 2nd level of brightness (normal), then jump jump jump till the highest(abnormal), then jump back to normal again, this happens around 15 mins per time...

3820tg works well, 1366x768, aa off, post processing on, dynamic shadows off

in case anyone having crashes or fps capping at 30. try the fixes here

mine oso happening d same thing but only once..

Try find something Intel Display Power Saving Technology (DPST) and disable it?

me now using low brightness just to maintain 5 hours batt life....haha

i cant remember much about the temp in DA2, but i think your CPU is way lower than mine! cool! but your GPU should be higher than mine... may be due to 1.05 volt in 6550 instead of 1.0v in 5650.

anyway, the temperature is cool! nothing to worry about.

anyway, check this out, Darksider 2 is gonna kick ass:
