ah know, they actually have a casing that looks somewhat similiar to the coolermaster stacker albeit about 400 bucks cheaper.

So far so good, for RM159 (bought it for RM159 from StarTec as C-Zone ran out of black colour)

It is HEAVY

The promised picture of the casing internal will come soon (with small little review from me), it is in my friend's DigiCam now, i dont have the transfer cable nor card reader, gotta wait till he wake up

As promised, some pictures of Atrix 5000

Attached Image
Out of the Box, the red patch are caused by camera.

Attached Image
The internal picture of the casing

Attached Image
"Screwless?" I had to screw my VGA cos the "screwless" stuff is unable to "clip" my VGA card

Attached Image
Erm, somewhat my DVD rom needs a screw too, but my CD-Rom doesn't. Maybe my DVD rom is too thin, can't be clipped properly. And the HDD rack, i was hoping i can make it face backward so that i don't have to stretch the cables to the front. (it is possible if i drill anoter hole for screw at the other side of the rack)

Attached Image
Side Panel, comes with a 12 cm COLOURFUL fan (i dun like). and there is a duct, for the processor fan i think tongue.gif

Attached Image
In the dark.. SEEEEEE the ugly colourful fan.

This casing can have up to 5 fans.
2 (8cm i think) in the front (not included)
1 (8cm i think) at the back
1 (8cm i think) on top
1 12cm fan by the side

The paint of the casing gives some kind of "rough" feel. It feels nice to touch it biggrin.gif

The instruction booklet for the Temperature sensor it not really useful, i don't know exactly where to stick the sensor.
In the end i took out my CPU heatsink and stick 1 of the sensor in the middle.
1 on the VGA heatsink & 1 on the HDD backpart....
It is reading 45 for CPU , 44 for VGA and 38 for HDD.
No idea where to put the sensor for the CD and HDD spin "sensor"

Moving my stuff from my old casing to this new 1 took me like 1-2 hours.

Hate the "1 screw reveal all".
I need to remove the only screw that screws the top panel. Remove top panel, then only i manage to remove the side panel. (too troublesome)

Thanks ed0gawa. Seem you are not so satisfied with the Atrix 5000. One thing I noticed is the Screwless is not working as suppose to do.

Selling RM230.00 in Malacca, so maybe I gonna buy CM 5 with the same money.

BTW, does it come with PSU ?

Erm , i bought for RM159 without PSU (this model doesn't have PSU)
Yep, the "screwless" ain't working perfectly. but so far, i am still quite satisfied la. just some minor problem only.. For this price (RM159) i don't think there is any other good casing around.

I had installed many powerlogic casings before.

Believe me, pricing is still judging the quality of this casing brand.

If you want to buy powerlogic casing, please try to look for RM150 or above series. They are solid and nice. smile.gif

I second that, handled a couple of it before but instead of the ANTARTICA, the CLIMATICA sells way better due to the lower price...

It's just one of those typical SECC steel casing with "lookalike" appeal... the rest it's nothing more than typical casing.

ICute, MEC, or whatever you may call it, it's actually not that well built, except for a particular models of their brand.

But their PSU is not really that reliable, although certain model comes with 1st year one to one exchange... whoa... i means those bundled together with the casing, not those Atrix you get separately... i think this casing supplied a 200W RMS True power only but with 24-pin connector (Antartica)... well, maybe you just trade in that PSU and pop in something better?

I bought the above casing from justPC recently. The problem comes when I want to connect the frontpanel audio to asus p5s800-vm motherboard. The casing only gave 4 wires! 1 for microphone, 1 for ground, 1 left speaker and 1 right speaker; so how do I connect the left and right speaker to the motherboard? I know you should take the jumpers out of the front panel audio connectors on the motherboard; but when I connect the left and right wire the back panel of the motherboard is not working. Any ideas??
The mic is working ok.

Yes, I refered to the motherboard manual but the problem is that when the wire is connected to the left and right speaker, the back panel speaker out does not work. As I understand, if we connect the speaker jack to the back panel, the sound should work and the front panel is cancelled and vice versa.

So, with just 2 wires how to make it work??
