Actually marimos are performing photosynthesis with a very low demand of light. During photosynthesis, not a must thta you can see the bubbles because sometime the bubbles (oxygen) are too fine for our eyes. When providing sufficient light and suit temperature, you will eventually see the bubbles wrapping the marimos. Remember, the bubbles are on the surface of marimo, not on the surface of bottle

perform more rapid water change and give them a massage and roll them on your hand. By the way, good water flow do assist the marimos to be come more round, this is due to the natural behavior of mairmos

The forcing of division on marimo required good maintenance and conditions of water to prompt the growth of the marimo, but it is not suitable to practice over our country due to high temperature, unless you enable the chiller all the time.
