Prince J, I have a request. I think others would like to know this too.

Are you able to bring in just the video card? For instance, bring in the GTX580 for those who want to upgrade from GTX460.
Not only the GPU, mobile CPU as well.
I guess it would do good to your business if you bring "options".
It would really make Sager an excellent option in terms of "customizeable" & "upgradeable".

Yes, we are able to bring in only GPU, CPU, Barebones, WIFI Card. We also sell Sager battery, adapter, hdd, ssd and ram, but I think you all are not interested to these parts. The only part we don't sell is screen. We don't list out in our website as individual parts price is not so attractive, buy a complete system is always cheaper than you assembly on your own.

Will definitely keep this in mind, especially If I want to and can upgrade the GPU next year.

Although our senior in Sager allow us to purchase the parts, even keyboard of Clevo chasis, but the prices depend on the demand, let say hd6970m and gt555m which are highly demanded, Sager rarely allow us to purchase, even they allow the prices are also very high. So that's why they don't have any parts price list, also the main reason we cannot put into our website.

How is sager sound system , is it good??

I believe Intel Advanced-N 6230 has bluetooth right? I was trying to install the BT driver from the disc but it says that it couldn't detect any bluetooth device.

It is embedded with bluetooth, try to download from Intel website.

I have just extended Mucro and Sager warranty to 2 years.

It kinda worries me if bad things do happen just after the 1 year warranty period is over.

Didn't know the warranty can be extended after purchase. Does it cost the same whether you add the extra year during your purchase or only extend it later on?

By right it can be extended, but not sure within certain range during the date of purchase or no range at all.
From what I read from somewhere, as long as it is within 90 days of purchase, you can still extend the warranty. Not sure whether it's true or not.

Mine bought around early April this year...

Price are about the same as when you customize the laptop, just that I have to add another RM26 for admin fee of their extra work in updating our invoice...

Suddenly I just don't trust that 1 year is enough...

What you meant? Full system or only the gpu?

ALL THE SAGER PRODUCTS PURCHASED ARE GIVEN FREE 1 YEAR CARRY-IN WARRANTY
2nd and 3rd year carry-in warranty prices are also deducted accordingly.

Starting from now, we only offer one type warranty which is combining our carry-in warranty and Sager official warranty.
Eg: 1 yr carry in + 1 yr Sager warranty applies to all unit default specs
2 yr carry in + 2 yr Sager warranty and 3 yr carry in + 3 yr Sager warranty are optional

We are able to offer the best Sager warranty and complete solution for Sager repairing services within Malaysia, which is very competitive.

Users can find us in KL, Johor Bahru, Kluang (Headquarter) and Singapore for RMA. If we are not around these areas at that time, users have to send their laptops/ parts to our headquarter on their own, which is meant by "carry in".

Please note that this warranty is coordinated by Sager, we do not warrant the whole machines. When necessary, we will send the parts/laptops back to US Sager headquarter, which will take a slightly longer period for repairing process, there is no extra charges on user side unless the warranty is void/not applied.
