It is still depends on the transmitter/server capabilities right?? I guess.  hmm.gif
oh well, I use cable more often and I seldom brings my laptop out to travel.

The actual internet speed depends on your internet line.
wireless n covers wider coverage, but also have to depend which type of wireless router in use.

QUOTE(ultimate.shun @ Jun 18 2012, 09:45 AM)
ok,thanks for telling ,i didn't know about that before, but now even if i added the 10%tax + shipping fees,it is still cheaper than if i buy it locally, or do you know any other reseller from other country that is cheaper???
*
if want ultra cheap, go for rjtech.com. shipping to malaysia around USD $150.
warranty could be hassle because you need to cover the shipping back to seller. seller only covers shipping back to you.

Actually after USPS banned the delivery of lithium-ion batteries which causes price hike in shipping cost, I've been thinking about the possibility of getting Sager/Clevo laptops from China/Taiwan (since Clevo is originally from Taiwan and Sager is just a re-branded version of Clevo).

Anyway, either route you still need to take care of the warranty issue unless you don't really mind about it.

i don't feel like US price is cheaper than this, do some calculation, shipping is $300 per one way, T/T rate is RM0.05 per dollar plus RM30 from Malaysian banker plus $25 from US banker. Today's rate is 3.15, so RM3.2 in total plus the banker fee. Besides, if something really happens on your laptop, you need to use $300 + $300 to fix it, although you don't care, but something does happen, I guess the $600 can let u purchase a new laptop lol biggrin.gif
Anyway, no matter where you buy, welcome to our sager family icon_rolleyes.gif

TT transfer through Public Bank = RM 30 (wire charge) + RM 2 (commission). No charges once arrive on seller's bank account.

but it's all depends on person's preferences. My LAN port is now broken because kena lightning strike, but the laptop is in good condition and wireless still works biggrin.gif

There are always charges on receiver bank account, like $10 in aus and $25 in US. I think RJtech already absorb the cost in the laptop price.
btw, isn't USPS banned lion battery?

Basically i believe they do have the matte screen, just the site was not fully updated, Xoticpc is sister company of sager, that's why they have the newest option info before they were launched.
