Hi Guys,

I know colour is a very personal choice, but still gonna ask your opinions.

How many of you guys feel that a red VW looks nice?

Some people have said that red coloured cars normally, abit hard to find buyers when I want to sell it off later.

What do you think?  I had not owned a red car before.
But I see many red cars with badly maintained paint that turns me off. This definitely affects the saleability of the car itself.

Red colours fades easily?

My white car, badly faded. back then I dun bother to maintain.
My black car, painstakingly maintained with regular wash and waxing etc....it is hard work but well worth it.
Red easy to maintain?

Did anyone had such experience with car dealers/direct buyers when you trade in your red coloured car?
I mean hard to find buyers etc.

I dun see a lot of buyers going for red.

Thanks for your inputs!!

I missed the group photo shoot the last time. Should we organize one for our LY group one of these weekends? Putrajaya perhaps? We could take a drive there, have the shoot and have TT there at same time. That would be fun. Mark could demonstrate his photography skills ;-)

Wanna ask some bro who drive GTI, whenever your turbo kick in do you heard any gas leaking noise from driver side ? I mean stock car not those with 3rd party Intake. Thanks
*
Cold air intake will make the sound even powderful!!! brows.gif

Hey guys any comments on APR Carbonio or Forge Twintake? Which one is more recommended? In terms of performance and sound. Cheers smile.gif

The reason i choose red over black and white is that red is more pop out on the road. This is my first red vw car. The nickname of Golf GTI is Small Red Chili so yea you do the math tongue.gif . A carbon fibre hood will change the look. Im still searching for a suitable hood to change.

My plan is to change the back light to R LED, cold air intake, cf hood and such. Gonna spend around 10k for it cry.gif cry.gif

Gonna meet up excite12 from vw.net so that he could bring me to the poison land around northern region laugh.gif

Cheers!

Hi Bros,

Thanks for the reply.

I like tornado red but it is for GTi only.

Amaryllis red(metalic) , tornado red (solid) and flash red (solid) looks nicer than salsa red (solid).

To me, salsa red look dull compared to the others.

Do you guys think so too?

I have the Amaryliss Red...its quite alright but in hindsight..its more of a ladies colour. But my missus drives the TSi so its ok I guess. I agree that Salsa red is abit too dull..but tornado red is damn sexy!!!! Food for thought..metalic colours usually carries a premium over solid..but in Malaysia..they are all same price..wonder why???

Take it nice and slow. Slowly mod first by starting with the simpler stuff like exteriors and interiors. That's the joy of modding I believe. tongue.gif

Okay...let's brighten up this thread with some Polo GTI pics:

sure can use ron95..
even golf gti can use it...
same engine with Golf TSI also...

nowadays any car that comes to malaysia i'm sure they have to set the standard to ron95 minimum..
