BTW, get yourself a tube of silicone grease will be great..
Apply them on the terminals... Once done with battery terminals(which I doubt from there, but hope that's the culprit), you need to continue with the fuse box area... It will be complicated job.... |

You should have atleast 2 fuse box(near to battery and below your dashboard).
Locate the fuse concerning to your issue and troubleshoot from there... If check all the fuse, it will take up a lot of time.... |

QUOTE(XionCity @ Jul 22 2011, 11:21 AM) i cant find any softwares to resize, i dunno how 2 resize too...everytime i need resize, i called my fren 2 do it, but he's now very bz...and that's also reason i put on 'SPOILER'...if not satisfied with the 'BIG' pictures, juz click 'SPOILER' again to close it... Hi bro,Added on July 22, 2011, 11:24 am I always prefer original rims, due to the quality of the rim, toughness of the rim, and the settings is set by default, measured by KIA technical during car design and prototype stage...yes, i do agree 17'' stock rim is very heavy, but at least quality better than those Asian manufactured rims...i juz did some mod, now my power is very good.. I agree with you on the looks of the rims. Went to a few tyre shops but the designs somehow don't match our Forte. Somemore the offset of the aftermarket rims does not match to Forte's which is at 50mm. I read from the Net that if we change the offset, there will be wear on the suspension components! Anyway, my mileage is around 23xx so I might give it a while more to see if FC & power will improve. Anyway mind to share what mods you have done to get more power...... maybe cheaper than changing a new set of rims & tyres |

Guys,
I was at Serdang police station last Friday night and I saw this car parked at the police station. You are right, it is a Forte 1.6SX, newest model and passengers RIP The purpose of this is not to condemn about Forte, (I am a Forte driver also), but to remind everyone of us to drive safe. Remember Princess Diana, what car was she on? Some youngsters thought they on super car and ignore about the safety of their own and other public users. |

Hi, care to share what the fuel consumption of your Forte.
Mine is: Forte 1.6SX 2011 (about 2 weeks old) at Half tank = slightly more than 200km at 70% = about 310km. 80% City, 20% Highway the above i think is not so fuel efficient. My previous car Proton Wira 1.5 (A) 2001 at half tank already more than 200 km. take into the consideration tha proton's fuel tank is 45L. is this normal? I read some claim to travel more than 500km per tank. |

hi there. am considering to buy forte 1.6sx.
i came across this ad on mudah giving a bunch of freebies... http://www.mudah.my/New+Kia+Forte+1+6+SX+6...t-10594662.htm but when i visit the showroom (official naza kia), they say no such promotion.. both price the same... u know, sometimes all this promo can be quite fishy, like urm, 'hidden' .. my question is, anyone purchased this promo package and hopefully can get some comments.. worthy? QUOTE(tancth @ Jul 25 2011, 01:14 PM) Hi, care to share what the fuel consumption of your Forte. Expect poor FC for city driving. Mine's a 2.0 and can easily hit 11-12L/100km in congested areas, and even as high as 13 if most of my journeys are spent stuck in jams. Note that I'm also driving in cold weather where the engine is more strained as the air con will be at full-blast heater mode Mine is: Forte 1.6SX 2011 (about 2 weeks old) at Half tank = slightly more than 200km at 70% = about 310km. 80% City, 20% Highway the above i think is not so fuel efficient.
