Went for my 1k service at Cheras Service Center, Good place cause less car so they really pay attention to my car and solve my problem.

The only complaint i have is the alliangement problem most probably need to add in the chamber nut to fully solve the problem and White colour abit hard to jaga laugh.gif i keep a microfiber cloth near by to clear bird droppings asap if they be-fall on my car laugh.gif

Btw guys how much is the chamber nut going to cost me? and can it be done at any tyre shop? or the chamber nut need to be order one?

1. is it safer if i trade in with Naza dealer?
*
i dunno la but from my previous exp, it's not safe to trade-in with any dealer in m'sia unless u didn't bother about trade-in price... take my advise, sell personally via mudah.my or autoworld.com.my

today dealer said u car trade-in value 15k so u agreed, pay deposit for a new car...
1 mth later, new car arrived & suddenly dealer said ur old car value is 10k...
u don't want that price no prob, we can pass ur new car to others. lots of people is queue behind u... so what say u...???
i've tried to write an agreement stated that both parties agreed to sell at 15k when the new car arrives but they refused to sign it...

QUOTE(dvinez @ Sep 7 2011, 05:10 PM)
3. so that means when i traded in my car, they still let me drive it until i get forte? but the geran/loan/insurance/etc not under me already, so i must drive like a turtle, cannot act like ah beng and sangat berhati-hati di jalan raya to avoid any misfortune that might happen?
*
drive like turtle? no one can predict the future bro...
i'll always drive like a turtle and suddenly this "fast five" car come from nowhere racing with other ah beng car and bang my car... poor my turtle...

i just change a new shoe for my lovely forte rclxm9.gif and the tyre shop worker suggest me to install the chamber nut also to solve the problem of pulling left.

but i just wondering would it helps or not?it cost RM 120 for both side.they claimed sure can solve the problem.

or is it better to go back SC to check?i have checked the adjustment price is RM 40,but not sure can solve the problem nicely or not hmm.gif

anyone try before?chamber nut or SC adjustment?

Wait for the upcoming Hyundai Elantra before deciding. Dont be in a hurry.

i think the elantra is going to be around 100k right? thats a bit out of my price range. Was thinking something in between 80-90k. you dont think the forte should be bought at this time?

any bro who purchased forte recently, got free bodykit? are the quality original or decent?
i called my nearest branch for a some quick question, interest around 2.7%-2.9%, rebate RM500 or add RM500 for bodykit.
i told him other branch offered free bodykit and freebies, he probably cock me saying those are bad quality so he rather not to free it. no freebies as well. cry.gif

hi guys...planning to get a forte soon so tot of asking u guys abt sumting that i noticed.... went for test drive on both the 1.6 and 2.0 and felt great abt both cars...definately worth the money...i have one question however, when i engage the paddleshift it will change gears by itself the moment it reaches 6k rpm...im sure the reason for it is to save the gb from being over revved...but is there a way we can not let it shift by itself and decide when to shift when we want it at high revs? sorry if this has already been asked before but tot of checking this matter out with all the proud owners before going furhter....appreciate your feedback on this...thanks.

6k rpm or so is already the max rev that it can achieves then follow by rev cut... so why would you wanna rev higher than that?

i asssumed that since the max in rpm was at 8k i could go at least close to it maybe up to 7 or so at least till i can decide to shift again...that way it will serve its purpose to use the pedal shift.but then again ur right i guess the max is already felt at 6k rpm...reason why im asking this is because i used cars that could rev up to redline (8k/9k rpm) and tot that that car had some prob thats y wanted to know more abt it... rclxub.gif
