No idea about the Setapak branch... But i can help on the procedures.

1. If you are trading in your current car, do some survey and ask around those second hand car dealer shops how much your car is worth and compare it to the price that you are offered when you trade in your car when you order your Forte. You can sell them outside as we do not get much discount/offers when we trade in (not like Proton where they can offer you very good price for trade in)

2. When you sell your car, your car is sold at a specific value - Eg: 15K. The dealer that purchase your car will pay you that 15K sum and you need to clear all remaining balance with the bank if you still have your installment running. It's up to you to manage between the bank, yourself and the dealer how you want to settle it.

3. If you haven't clear your loan, your car card (or the card that says who's the owner, some calls it Geran, etc) is still with the bank, and dealers will need that. Just go to a Kia Branch/dealer and ask them how the procedure works as it might vary from one to another depending on how they do the trade in.

4. And don't forget about your insurance too... There's the NCD (No Claim Discount) from your existing car, remember to transfer to your new car too and get the refunds.

hope this helps. smile.gif

1. As long as they exist here on this website, you are safe coz they are authorized Dealer/resellers.

http://www.nazakia.com.my/support/sales-se...entres-location

2. Don't compare interest for local cars with oversea cars, Proton is always higher.

3. If that's the case you can trade in your car and ask the dealer to settle the procedures (there will be surely some bank documents to sign etc etc). Like I said, you need to discuss with your sales agent and see how willing they are to help you. smile.gif During the transition phase (trade in already n waiting for your new Forte) you don't have a choice but to drive carefully.. For me I basically drove like a turtle and was extremely careful. lol....

3. so that means when i traded in my car, they still let me drive it until i get forte? but the geran/loan/insurance/etc not under me already, so i must drive like a turtle, cannot act like ah beng and sangat berhati-hati di jalan raya to avoid any misfortune that might happen?

if they still let me drive the car then thats good since it will be expensive if i take taxi to my office everyday, although it is very near.

thanks biggrin.gif
