-revenge against Sweden (2004), done

-revenge against Spain (2008 & 2012), done

now against Germany. Italy rarely have a bad blood against them bcoz we usually have an upper-hand (WC 2006, EU 2012)...and having that "Germany boogey team" tag made me more confident about prospect of facing Germany rather than the likes of Spain/France

but that's all count for nothing in the actual match. Lets hope the same Italy that show up last night against Spain, will be there against Germany this Saturday

sweet revenge indeed...
against germany if italy can maintain the same mentality and superb counter-attacks (hopefully candreva has recovered by then)...shouldn't be an issue to beat germany even if scoreline is 1-0

it will be another leceister city story if we manage to win this euro

this is the lousiest italian side in more than a decade. many had predicted italy to be lambs to the slaughter prior to the tournament but look where we are now.. beaten the highest ranked european team.. and eliminated the double european champ / former world champ

even if we fall against germany i think this tournament can be considered a success already.. but we are italy.. we must play to win at all times thumbup.gif

Aiyah, it seems that De Rossi is out and Motta is suspended. Hopefully the replacement wont disappoint all of us. Forza Italia!

no De Rossi, no Motta, no Candreva

i guess the next midfield trio against Germany will be Parolo-Sturaro-Giaccherini

Yeah, hopefully Conte has something special again. Of course Candreva will be missed but De Sciglio did well against Spain. Let's hope he can perform well again. I only worried about Sturaro (if he really replaces De Rossi in midfield), I know he can run entire 90 minutes non stop but sometimes he can't even pass the ball accurately. sad.gif
Maybe I didn't watch all of his matches for Juventus due to no coverage by Astro but hi

The worst penalties from zaza and pelle. Even defenders took better kicks
