80GB eh? Wow. Stick with Unifi bro smile.gif

In a nutshell, we shouldn't be comparing a static wired network with one that is wireless. Obviously it wouldn't be fair. Fibre is fibre, it will give you the best bang for buck and performance. However, for nomadic execs like me, YES 4G is awesome not only because of sustained high speeds and improving coverage, but also I think the one ID for multiple devices is very innovative. Also we're not bound be SIMs and we only have 1 bill to pay. I am contemplating downgrading my Maxis plan right now as I'm so spoiled by YES with the speeds. With the 150 Value Pack, I get instant rebates and I find that works well for me. I have a Huddle, Go and Buzz phone.

For the record, all YES accounts valid for 30 days if you don't reload. For the trial pack, that's 14 days. Just to clear things up smile.gif

More exciting things coming from YES and it will only get better. I can't wait for the Android smartphone that they've been working on. This will come in August. Also YES Life for Android is in the works too!

A bit noob here. Not quite sure how this will work... If I keep my Yes I'd, how to make call on my phone? No need SIM card... must be in wifi area then oni can make call? Can use Yes with normal phone? Or must buy special 4G phone?

Tried this on my IPad2. Calls connect quickly, and voice quite clear, so I'm interested to see if this will better than maxis phone+data plan.

To make calls, either your iPad or iPod Touch must be connected to a WiFi service or if your iPad is the 3G version, as long you remain connected you can make calls via Yes Life. Otherwise, you will need their Yes 4G phone.

I travel overseas quite a bit. If this works, it will work well for me.

I will divert my primary mobile number to the Yes Life, so incoming calls are free. I can call out with this so it's a local call.

I just need to register or buy a prepaid 3G data sim card when I am overseas.

Guys there seems to be some unclear things here. Yes 4G is simless. There is no SIM for any YES device. If u were to use to Yes network and services, all u need is a Yes ID which also comes with 018 number.

Just downloaded and create a ID, connection quite stable, voice clear enough. Manage to call in/out without any problem.
Just can't change the ringtone sweat.gif

Yep, the only thing that's troublesome is that most phones are not 4G phones, so to connect to Yes network without using wifi, need to either get the huddle or get a 4G phone.
